Comparative Analysis Of Sino-US Automobile Lightweight Technology And Chinese Cooperative Strategy Research

Automobile lightweight technology is a clean energy technology which can reduce fuel consumption and improve vehicle safety.Under the current trend of increasing vehicle emission and safety standards,automobile lightweight will usher in rapid development.China and US,which are the world’s major automobile consumers and producers,have conducted cooperative research in the field of automobile lightweight through The U.S.–China Clean Energy Research Center and other channels,the comparative analysis of Sino-US automobile lightweight technology is helpful for both sides to accurately grasp the current development status of automobile lightweight technology in China and US and provides a basis for future cooperative decision-making,which has strong practical significance.This paper first analyzes the development of automobile lightweight technology,the development of automobile lightweight technology in major automobile industry countries and the development plan of China and US automotive lightweight technology.Then focuses on the lightweight of passenger cars,select the incoPat patent database,formulate the Sino-US automotive lightweight patent comparison search strategy,and use patent analysis to compare the overall development of Sino-US automobile lightweight technology.Then compares Sino-US automobile lightweight materials and automotive lightweight design.Based on the comparative analysis of Sino-US automobile lightweight,use SWOT analysis on Sino-US automobile lightweight cooperation and summarizes the automobile lightweight technology development status of the members and the main problems in the cooperation process of The U.S.–China Clean Energy Research Center.The article proposes future cooperative strategy for The U.S.–China Clean Energy Research Center on Chinese side in the field of automotive lightweight: establishing a special research group to conduct automotive lightweight research,identifying specific research directions and proposing cooperation in the field of automotive lightweight materials,choosing the proper automobile lightweight project leader,cooperate with material companies and strengthen intellectual property management.
