Rolling is an indispensable part of the production process of lithium battery pole piece.Rolling can make the active substances on the surface of the pole piece tightly bonded,reduce the volume of the pole piece and improve the surface smoothness of the pole piece.At present,roll rolling technology mainly includes hot rolling and cold rolling.Hot rolling is the use of heated rolls to roll the plates.Compared with cold rolling,hot rolling is more conducive to improving the flatness and compaction density of the plates.At present,the heating method of roll is: processing the runner inside the roll,and passing the heated heat conducting oil into the runner to achieve the heating purpose.At present,there is little research on the heating process of this heating mode in China.In order to improve the uniformity of surface temperature and the effective length of roll surface,this paper improves the structure of runner and oil distribution scheme based on the simulation of conventional roll runner forms(straight-through and peripheral perforation).The distribution characteristics of hot oil velocity and pressure are simulated with different flow passage structure and different inlet velocity of hot oil.At the same time,the distribution characteristics of temperature field and deformation on the roll surface are obtained.It provides a theoretical reference for the improvement of the heating process of hot roll in the actual production process.Based on the conventional straight-through runner structure,two new runner structures,inner arch and outer arch,are proposed.The finite element method is used to model and simulate.Through the analysis of simulation results,it is concluded that the inner arch channel is superior to the outer arch channel.Accordingly,the flow passage structure of the peripheral perforated horizontal part was changed to the inner bow structure,and the characteristics of the velocity field and pressure field of hot oil flow were analyzed.The steady-state and transient temperature fields of hot rolls with inner arc-shaped runner structure are analyzed.The effects of runner structure and inlet velocity on the steady-state temperature characteristics and instantaneous temperature characteristics of rolls are obtained.Increasing the inlet hot oil flow rate is helpful to improve the surface temperature uniformity of rolls.The influence of roll structure and oil distribution scheme on the thermal deformation characteristics of roll surface was analyzed.In order to ensure that the simulation work meets the requirements of safety production,the surface stress of rolls is analyzed.By calculating the safety factor,the results show that the simulation meets the safety requirements.The static heating process of an active roll is simulated,and the surface temperature characteristics obtained by simulation are compared with the field test data,which verifies the rationality of the simulation research method of roll temperature field in this paper.
