Battery pole mill is an important equipment to improve the density of battery pole piece.Rolling is the most important step in the production of battery.It is of great significant impact to improve the density of battery pole pieces and the thickness uniformity of pole pieces so as to improve the excellent performance of batteries and battery packs storage performance and cycle life.In order to reveal the rolling law of the battery pole piece in the rolling process and determine the relevant factors that affect the solidity and thickness uniformity of the pole piece,so as to improve the quality of the battery and the battery pack,the rolling mechanism of the battery pole piece roll is carried out in.depth exploration,through the static numerical simulation of the pole piece roll and battery electrode plate rolling process of dynamic simulation,it is to analyze and determine the relevant parameters of the battery pole piece which are in the rolling process of the pole piece roller and the pole.The analysis results of this paper have a certain guiding significance for battery pole piece manufacturers,this article from the following four aspects to carry out research:1.Firstly,the rolling mechanism of battery pole piece rolling mill is introduced,and then the necessary conditions for steady rolling in the whole rolling process are explored,which are the basic parameters of rolling,the stability conditions,the front slip and back displacement and the main deformation coefficient;In the process of rolling,the rolling force of the roller was calculated theoretically and the mathematical model was deduced.The elastic deformation of the roller was analyzed,such as elastic deflection and elastic flattening.The main parameters affecting the rolling process were pointed out,which lays a theoretical foundation for the research of rolling mechanism of follow.up battery pole piece roll.2.The overall structural parameters of the battery pole piece were analyzed.And the whole force analysis and roll rigidity deformation analysis are carried out according to the overall force analysis of the pole piece roll,the mathematical model of the roll deformation was deduced.The finite element model of the pole piece roll was established,it was to explore the impact of different roller diameter,different width of the pole piece,different rolling force on the pole plate shape with the ANSYS finite element analysis software as a carrier,The above theoretical analysis had been verified through simulation.3.This paper simulates the whole rolling process through the ABAQUS finite element analysis software as the platform.The whole densification process in the process of polar plate rolling is analyzed from the two aspects of the velocity distribution of the electric slurry particles and the change of the thickness of the polar plates.The slip in the process of polar plate rolling is explained from the relation between the contact pressure and the shear force of the electric slurry particles.The results of the theoretical analysis had been verified by contact simulation.4.The battery pole piece rolling test platform was set up,including the battery pole piece rolling mill for the battery pole piece and the scanning electron microscope for testing the pole piece of the battery to carry out the rolling and testing of the battery pole piece.In the experiment,the samples of the battery pole pieces with the same width in the whole rolling process were intercepted and analyzed to show the movement and deformation of lithium iron phosphate particles during the whole rolling process,and the relative densities were measured.Part of the battery pole piece samples on the section were analyzed microscopically to show the distribution of lithium iron phosphate particles after the rolling was completed and to measure the thickness of the battery pole piece sample and to plot the thickness variation along the width of the battery pole piece strip curve.The test results had validated the above theoretical analysis results,and also proved the correctness of the above numerical simulation.
