The urban bus passenger flow data is the important basis for planning,adjustment and optimization of the public transportation system and public transportation network,and it is extremely important for the development of urban public transportation system to obtain the real-time and comprehensive urban bus passenger flow data,which is Origin-Destination Matrix(OD matrix)of urban bus.The current researches of estimating OD matrices of bus trip based on bus Integrated Circuit Card(IC card)consumption data and bus Global Positioning System(GPS)data,which are often limited to a single bus route when judging the passengers’ getting-on,getting-off and transfer behavior,cannot clearly elaborate the communication and distinction between the passengers’ getting-off behavior and transfer behavior,and they only regard the transfer behavior as a common travel behavior,but not as a special status connecting two adjacent bus travel processes,which is exactly one of the most important feature of the transfer behavior,however.Therefore,based on the existing methods,a method for estimating the OD of bus trip based on the integrative identification of the passengers’ getting-off and transfer behaviors in time and space dimensions is proposed,whose main contents include the following words:Firstly,it analyzes the data structure and the key fields of bus IC card and GPS data,then aiming at the problem that no fields of bus IC card consumption records and GPS data directly show the stations passengers getting on and off,presents a method for filtering,sorting,associating and fusing these data,for getting data that can be used to identify stations.Secondly,based on the recognition of the passenger’s boarding station,aiming at the problem that the real starting points and ending points of passengers’ complete travel processes cannot be correctly identified,it presents a method of integrative identifying passengers getting-off and transferring behavior in space and time dimensions.This method judge whether the “getting-off” action at this time is the getting-off behavior or the first half action of transfer behavior by introducing the idea of the travel chain.Then,based on the differentiated behavior of getting-on,getting-off,and transfer,it presents a method of obtaining OD matrix based on the passengers’ complete travel processes of public transport.The method removes the “getting-on” and “getting-off” actions of the transfer behavior which has been identified,estimates the total number of passengers’ non-transferred bus trips and the proportion of passengers using IC cards which are used to obtain the expansion coefficient of OD matrix based on the complete travel processes of public transport and ultimately gets the passengers’ complete travel process OD matrix in bus routes and stations.On this basis,divide all the stations on the bus routes into station groups,split and reorganize the OD between stations,the regional bus OD matrix can be formed.Finally,an example analysis of IC card consumption records and bus GPS data on all the stations of five bus routes in Lanzhou is made on the above mentioned of the method of identification of passengers’ getting-on,getting-off and transfer behavior and the method of OD matrix estimating,the feasibility,effectiveness and applicability of the methods are verified.
