This paper mainly studies the design of the laminating machine based on user experience.The main purpose of this paper is to design a laminator that meets the user’s experience and enhance the overall quality and brand of the laminator.This paper firstly states the basic theories of user experience elements,user experience requirements hierarchy,the whole process of user experience and elements of modeling.Laminating machine modelling design process is proposed on the basis of user experience design elements,which is laminating machine,the basic questions-the user and user needs analysis-laminating machine modelling design strategy-laminating machine design practice-laminating machine design evaluation.Secondly,the classification and structure of laminating machine are briefly introduced.The life cycle of laminating machine is analyzed to find the strategy of the laminating machine at the current stage of product maturity,and the major problems to be solved are the brand issue and the overall improvement of the product.In addition,the aspects that influence the machine design are both internal factors: function,material and technical conditions and external factors: environment,user attributes,space for use.Also,it proposes laminating machine modeling design requirements: ease of use,aesthetic,and brand.provide specific ideas for the research on the user demand of the later laminating machine.And it can provide specific ideas that help the research of user requirement for laminating machine in the future.According to the perspective of the whole processes of user experience,laminating machine is detailly separated into laminating machine users,laminating machine user operation,laminating machine installation and commissioning users.And on the basis of aforementioned separation,the key requirements of all users are researched and analyzed to reduce useless work.In turn,the behavioral demands,sensory needs and emotional needs of the users of the laminator were obtained through the field survey method,in-depth interview method and questionnaire survey.Based on the user demand of the laminating machine,this paper proposed the design and usability strategy of the laminating machine: trial-and-error method,functional relationship definition and ergonomics application.The aesthetic strategy of the shape of the machine was discussed from the formal beauty,the color beauty and the beauty of thematerial.And the brand strategy focuses on the continuity and method of brand DNA.It can provide guidance for the specific design of the diaphragm.Finally,the design practice is carried out to design the existing laminating machine model of Shengtian Packaging Machinery.The design contents mainly include geometric modeling design,color design,material design and some modeling functions based on the brand.Then the design is analyzed by heuristic evaluation method and user survey questionnaire.This paper states the overall grasp of the status of the laminating machine,laminating machine user specific ways,as well as the combination of sensory design and rational design method which provide a reference for other large-scale mechanical product design.
