Urban rail transit with many transport advantages is an important component of the urban public transport system and the main transport artery of urban passenger transport. With the improvement of economic level, the exchange of cultural and sports activities in the city is becoming more and more frequent, and it will inevitably lead to the sudden outburst of passenger traffic.Rail transit will face enormous transportation challenges. The uninterrupted extension of the rail transit and the extension of the existing lines make it necessary for the evacuation of large passenger traffic to evacuate stations, lines, and road networks. This paper analyzes and studies the mechanism of large passenger flow in the station, the organization scheme, and the impact on the network after a large-scale outbreak of passenger traffic. The details are as follows:(1)Define and classify large bursts of passengers, clarifying that the large-scale study of sudden passenger flow in this article is a large-scale event that provides one-time service. The classification of sudden large passenger flows by subway operators is given, and the characteristics of sudden large passenger flows are analyzed. The definition and classification of bottlenecks in urban rail transit stations are given.(2)A "macro-medium-micro" multi-layer pedestrian behavior model describing the mechanism of large passenger flow in the station is established.Among them, the social force model describes the passenger's microscopic movement, the mesoscopic movement model describes the passenger's path planning, and the macro-motion model describes the queueing choice of passengers in the waiting area of the platform. The model of intermediate station and transfer station was established to study the process of propagation attenuation of large passenger flows in the network.During the process of passenger flow, the passenger flow status at nearby sites will be changed, and the large passenger flow propagation model based on SIRS will be used for the entire network. The proportion of status sites is studied. In the research project,we introduced the instability probability ? and the preparation probability ? to construct the large passenger flow SIRS propagation model.(3)Based on the introduction of the basic principle of large passenger flow control, the general method of passenger flow organization strategy in the event of a sudden large passenger flow is elaborated. From the perspective of the operating unit, three levels of passenger traffic, passenger transport and ticketing are used to control general passenger flow. The strategy was analyzed and three levels of passenger control measures adopted by the subway operators were introduced. From the two aspects of the train development plan and site passenger flow organization, the analysis of the optimized plan for dealing with unexpected large passenger flows was conducted.(4)Taking the rail transit in Chongqing as an example, model simulation experiments were conducted at substations and networks. In the analysis of the influence of large passenger flow in stations, the Guanyinqiao station of Line 3 with a high frequency of passenger flow is taken as the research object.Based on the actual passenger flow data and combined with the pedestrian behavior model,a large passenger flow simulation scenario is designed to evaluate the bottleneck as an evaluation. The key nodes, respectively, conducted simulation evaluation on the passenger flow before and after adopting large passenger flow control measures to prove the rationality of the measures. When analyzing the impact of large passenger flows in the network, use the SIRS-based large passenger flow propagation model to simulate the effectiveness of the proposed large passenger flow control strategy using MATLAB based on the changes in train passing capacity after adopting a large passenger flow control strategy.Experiments to obtain the general propagation pattern of large passenger flow in the rail transit network.
