The learning and utilization of knowledge is an important way for construction projects to deal with external environmental uncertainty and high-complex construction and at the same time to obtain sustainable competitive advantage.A construction project is an industry that encompasses all kinds of knowledge and information.Based on this feature of the construction project, the information and knowledge are distributed among different construction projects and personnel.Project members in a construction project organization have different knowledge and experience.Knowledge sharing among construction project members is an effective means of project organization innovation and is one of the key factors for effective knowledge management and project performance improvement. However, there is a lack of enthusiasm for knowledge sharing among project members and lack of knowledge sharing behavior. The lack of sufficient knowledge exchange and interaction among construction project members not only hinders the dissemination of the knowledge, experience, skills, etc.among members in the project, but also lead to repeated research on project construction, loss of knowledge, and repeated mistakes because of the knowledge created and accumulated during the construction of the project has not been fully shared.Organizational context is an important context factor that affects the knowledge sharing of construction project members. However, the existing research about the relationship among organizational context and knowledge sharing usually regards each organizational context factor as a juxtaposed and independent relationship and uses a regression model or a structural equation model to verify the influence of a single organization context factor on knowledge sharing. And ignoring the possible interactions such as substitution, complementary and accumulation between organizational culture and organizational structure. Therefore, this paper intends to use the combination of different factors included in the organizational culture and organizational structure as the starting point and study the impact of organizational multi-factors combination on construction project members knowledge sharing.Firstly,by combing relevant theoretical literature, the organizational culture in this paper contains three factors: trust level, supportive atmosphere and incentive factor. The organizational structure includes two factors: organizational centralization and organizational formality.Secondly, the research model of the influence of organizational culture and organizational structure factors' combination on the knowledge sharing behavior of construction project members is constructed based on the configuration theory and hypothesis is put forward. Finally, through the distribution of questionnaires and data collection then csQCA is used to explore the impact of the combination of five factors(trust level, supportive atmosphere, incentive factor, organizational centralization and organizational formality)on knowledge sharing behavior of project members. The research conclusions show that there are five configurations of organizational context factors which can promote the knowledge sharing behavior of construction project members, and they are divided into two knowledge sharing behavior promotion paths: trust-driven and incentive-driven.The trust-driven promotion path includes: configuration 1a(high trust level*high supportive atmosphere*low organizational formality),configuration 1b(high trust level*high incentive factor*low organizational formality),configuration 1c(high trust level*high incentive factor*low organizational centralization);incentive-driven promotion path includes: configuration 2a(high incentive factor*low organizational concentration*low organizational formality),configuration 2b(highly supportive atmosphere*high incentive factor*high organizational centralization*high organizational formality). The five configurations reflect the matching relationship between organizational culture and organizational structure, which indicates that the knowledge sharing behavior of construction project members depends to a certain extent on the matching and combination effect of the two organizational context factors. At the same time, there is an alternative relationship between trust and incentive factor in the two knowledge sharing behavior promotion paths.
