The development of ship manufacturing technology is the fundamental power to push forward the development of ship industry of our country.With the rapid development of computer science and technology,in the past few decades,computer-aided simulation methods have been put into use in ship industry to a deeper extent.The current trend of ship CAE pre-processing is to develop the integration of design and simulation process,as well as intelligence.In this thesis,based on the project of an integrated system of design and simulation,the key technologies of ship CAE pre-processing system are studied.The main contents are as follows:(1)Based on the features of current CAE pre-processing software and CAE software used in ship industry,the pros and cons of them have been compared in aspects of generality and professionalism,in order to demonstrate the aim of this research;(2)A set of key applications with high ship professionalism in CAE pre-processing system have been designed,developed,and integrated in NX platform seamlessly,such as the simplification of the end of brackets,the cuttings of corrugated bulkhead and auto-meshing,etc.(3)Based on the real ship structures,the strategy of filtering the ends of brackets is developed,which can complete the simplification of plates with those structures(such as brackets,side ribs,etc.)on a ship CAD/CAE integrated platform.(4)A method of automatically setting the size of fine element mesh size is developed,and the algorithm of the automatic cutting of corrugated structural plate is developed,which can automatically divide the areas on corrugated structures and as a result,the meshing quality is improved;(5)Finally,a CAD model of a 324 meters and 180,000 tons ship is used to test all the applications designed in this thesis to prove the feasibility and applicability of this system.
