Research On The Design Of Public Transport And Facilities In The Middle Of The Republic Of China

The design and manufacture of public transport vehicles during the times of Republic of China is the origin of modern traffic,and is also the attempt of the early industrialization and modernization.This paper studies from three aspects.First,the study of the overall situation of traffic and the design for the public transport vehicles in the middle period of the Republic of China,and it summarizes the situation of the traffic from the time of the national traffic network expansion,railway road and bridge constructional situation,people travel conditions,the founding of the general plan and transportation strategy for the Republic of China,in "golden ten years".Second,it studies the characteristics of the new public transit vehicles in the middle period of the Republic of China.(1)The design features and current situation of Chinese traditional vehicles after the emergence of the new public transport.(2)As a result of the domestic traffic demand and the manufacture characteristic,the people carried on the reformation design to its function and the outward appearance.To study these means of transport for people to travel is to provide the reference and theoretical basis for the design and manufacture of China's national conditions of the modem means of transport.Third,the emergence of new means of public transport in times of the Republic of China,"golden ten years" promoted the development of related transportation facilities.It is of great historical as well as practical significance to study the transportation and public transport facilities for the transformation of modern urbanization in China.The traffic's ten years in the middle of times of the Republic of China was also the ten years which the modern transportation design has highly developed in China.With the joint efforts of the promotion in national economy and social transformation,China has made remarkable achievements in the modernization of transportation and manufacturing industries,and has been accepted by the vast majority of China's citizens in the past ten years.In the middle of times of the Republic of China,the country's economic recovery of the people's livelihood,the initial development of social civilization,brought by improving the quality and concept of the people promote the people's lives and travel patterns" in the "golden ten years".This breakthrough is of great significance and has played an important role in the social transformation in China.The rapid development of modern means of transportation design and manufacturing in the middle period of the Republic of China renovated the "localization" of the input of China's western means of transport.At the same time,the "modernization" of the design and manufacture of the vehicle has made people's travelling means more modern.Chinese people unremittingly explored in the process of from the purchase of imported,assembled transformation transport tools in order to accumulated experience to realize the "domestication" of the design and manufacture and using popularityAnd this kind of experience was the accumulation one which Chinese people explored the modern vehicle design in accordance with the "China's national conditions" since the Westernization Movement.Because of this,the article relying the overall condition of the traffic development in Republic of China,studies both the design of traffic tools and the design of traffic facilities in the middle times of the Republic of China,mainly aims at the purpose to provide a valuable historical basis for the design and manufacture of Chinese modern traffic tools,and establishes a theoretical basis for the Chinese transportation design history.
