Research On The Theme Atmosphere Construction Of Museum Transition Space

In the composition of the museum space,the transitional space is an integral part.The museum transition space refers to the connection space between the interior and the exterior of the museum(The preface and tail hall),the connection space between the exhibition hall(The connection space of a tandem layout,radial layout of the central hall space),the connection space between the exhibition items.(Blank space between exhibits).It is generally believed that these spaces are "blank" and " content-free." However,with the continuous improvement of society's requirements on the quality of museum communication,it is not enough for the museum's transitional space to remain "neutral" and "detached ".The transition space of the museum should also shoulder the mission and responsibility of bearing the theme of the museum,which has become the core issue of this paper.The author believes that the transition space of the museum not only meets the needs of related functional use,but also plays a role in creating a unique theme atmosphere for visitors.From the perspective of the intensity of the subject content,the transition space is more subtle and more general than the exhibition hall.The transition space in different regions also has different emphasis on the theme performance: the preface hall often expresses the theme in a symbolic way of artistic means;the tail hall may help the audience to organize their thoughts and strengthen the feeling of viewing the exhibition by creating an atmosphere;the transition space between the exhibition halls and between the exhibitions is to help the audience to smoothly connect the two different levels of display content.Through the reasonable creation of the theme atmosphere of the museum transition space,it helps to improve the overall display of the museum.Due to differences in the nature of the museum,the transitional space has its own particularities in expressing the theme of the exhibition.The author analyzes from three perspectives of space,semantics and form,and explores the characteristics of transition space in the theme performance.Refining and transforming according to different themes,summarizing symbols of different themes,symbolizing the theme elements,using formal processing methods,figurative and abstract expressions,emphasizing the creation of theme atmosphere,the imagination of the visitors is fully stimulated and the appeal of the space atmosphere is enhanced.By making the spaces seamlessly connected,the viewer can enjoy the visual enjoyment while obtaining the information,and easily and naturally accept the information conveyed by the designer.This paper attempts to analyze the status quo of the transition space in the museum,based on the analysis of the process of creating the theme of the transitional space,and to conduct in-depth research on the factors that influence the creation of the theme of the transition space.Combining relevant design cases and using relevant theories such as communication,semiotics and place spirit,to explore the method of creating the theme atmosphere of the museum transition space.It is hoped that the research in this paper will provide useful reference for the design of the transition space of the museum,in order to gain a deeper understanding of the museum display design.
