Analysis Of The Differences In The Time Value Of Commuters' Early And Late Peak Travel Time

Commuting travel is an important part of the normal operation of a city.Time value is the basis for analysis and prediction of traffic mode sharing rate.In recent years,the number of motor vehicles in China has increased rapidly,that resulting severe traffic congestion.Especially in the morning and evening peak hours,it seriously restricts the development of the city.The travel time of public transportation and the reliability of travel time decided the service level of public transport systems.It also affects the attractiveness of public transportation to travelers,and then determines the implementation effect of public transport priority policies.The government of the domestic city will give certain subsidies to the public transport operators to reduce the fares of public transport.For travelers,the time cost and time reliability cost of bus travel is critical to the impact of bus selection behavior.It is the theoretical basis for studying the factors influencing travel behavior.Therefore,based on the survey data,this paper establishes a commute time value model to study the commute time value and time reliability value of cars and public transportation.Provide reference for the formulation of regular bus and rail fares and the implementation of policies to alleviate urban traffic congestion.First,study the economic concept of travel time value.Then analyze the characteristics of commuting time value,the factors affecting the time value of commuting and the existing commuting time value calculation model.Based on this,constructed a preliminary calculation model of commuter travel time value.Then design a pre-survey questionnaire to investigate the travel characteristics of commuters.And design the SP questionnaire by orthogonal design method and collect the travel preference data of the traveler.Then analyze the differences in selection preference characteristics of commuters' different travel destinations.Establish the time value and time volatility value calculation Logit model through the collected dataFinally,visualize the time volatility by using four factors: early arrival time,early arrival probability,late arrival time,and late arrival probability in the commute travel analysis.In the commute travel analysis,use the mean-variance model and the trip planning model to evaluate the travel time reliability value.And compare the result.Then establish a revenue-based time value correction model.To analyze the difference in travel time volatility between different travel destinations.Calibrate the model and compare it with the traditional model.According to the calibration results,compare the time value of the commute's different travel destinations in the morning and evening.Based on the research results,propose some suggestions for formulating public transportation fares and implementing policies to alleviate urban traffic congestion.
