In recent years,environmental problems have attracted wide attention of the whole society.The air pollution problem in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei is particularly serious.Therefore,energy saving and emission reduction are the direction of future economic development in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei.With the economic growth,the output of each department increases rapidly,and if the energy consumption increases,the emission of pollutants will also increase.Therefore,how about the energy consumption in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei region needs our attention.To this end,this paper first classifies all energy products into four categories(coal mining and processing products,oil and gas mining products,production and supply of electricity,heat and gas,petroleum processing,coking and nuclear fuel processing products),and compiles the input-output table of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei mixed energy resources;then,the input-output structure decomposition model is used to meet the final needs of various industrial departments in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.Demand and in the production process,the consumption of various energy sources is decomposed into five factors:energy structure,energy intensity,value-added rate,technology level and final demand.The differences of energy consumption and its influencing factors among the three places are compared,and the potential of emission reduction is explored.Based on the data of industry supply chain provided by input-output table,energy is used.Consumption layer analysis method divides the total energy consumption produced by various industries for the production of final products into direct energy consumption and indirect energy consumption at different levels.It systematically analyses the key links of energy consumption generated by the supply-demand relationship among industries,so as to highlight the important energy consumption links.Finally,it discusses how Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei can improve the energy utilization efficiency of various sectors and reduce them.We should reduce energy consumption and pollutant emissions of various departments,and put forward reasonable policy recommendations.The results show that the energy consumption of Beijing、Tianjin and Hebei has slowed down in recent years,but the overall consumption is still very large.There are positive and negative impacts of five factors on the total energy consumption in Beijing、Tianjin and Hebei.Among them,the main factors leading to the increase of total energy consumption in Beijing are final demand and technology level effect;the main factors leading to the increase of total energy consumption in Tianjin are final demand,energy intensity and technology level effect;and the main factors leading to the increase of total energy consumption in Hebei Province are energy intensity and technology level effect.From the industry contribution to the consumption of coal mining and processing products,Beijing’s metal smelting and calendering products,construction industry and other service industries have made greater contributions,but the influencing factors are different.The main factors leading to the increase in the consumption of coal mining products in the metal smelting and calendering products industry are the energy structure,energy intensity and value-added rate effect,which leads to the construction industry and other service industries to coal consumption.Technical level and ultimate demand effect are the factors that increase the consumption of selected products;Tianjin’s agricultural,forestry,animal husbandry and fishery products and services,food and tobacco contributes a lot,among which the main factor that leads to the increase of consumption of selected coal products is energy structure effect,and the main factor that leads to the increase of consumption of selected coal products in food and tobacco industry is energy intensity.Technology level and final demand effect;Hebei’s construction industry,transportation equipment and other service industries contribute more,and the impact direction of each factor is the same.Energy structure and value-added rate effect lead to the reduction of consumption of coal mining products,energy intensity,technology level and final demand lead to the increase of consumption.The results of energy consumption analysis show that other service industries,construction industry,transportation,warehousing and postal,wholesale,retail and accommodation catering industry are the high energy consumption industries that need to be focused on in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei,but the ranking of them is slightly different in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei.However,the proportion of direct consumption layer and indirect consumption layer to various energy consumption in high energy consumption industries is quite different,which needs to be treated differently.In the direct consumption layer,the industries that consume more energy in Beijing are other services,transportation,storage and postal,wholesale,retail and accommodation catering.Other services,wholesale,retail and accommodation catering consume more electricity,heat and gas,while transportation,storage and postal consume more petroleum processing,coking and nuclear fuel processing products.Transportation,warehousing and postal services account for a larger proportion of energy consumption in Tianjin,and mainly for petroleum processing,coking and nuclear fuel processing products;other services,wholesale,retail and accommodation catering industries,transportation,storage and postal industries account for a larger proportion of energy consumption in Hebei,and their main energy consumption is similar to that in Beijing.Indirect energy consumption layers are also quite different and need to be treated differently.It can be seen that discussing the consumption of different energy sources according to the supply chain hierarchy is of great significance for energy conservation and emission reduction.
