Under the background of advocating sustainable development in today’s society,paying attention to the use of passive technology has an important impact on the design of architectural forms.China has a vast territory,and there are huge differences in climatic conditions in different regions,resulting in different applicability of passive technologies in different regions,and the difference in applicability of technologies constitutes a variety of architectural forms.According to the climate characteristics of different regions,the combination of passive technology and architectural design can not only make the architectural form more epochal and regional,but also make its design more scientific.From the perspective of technical applicability,this article selects 64 sample cities in hot summer and cold winter regions,and uses the enthalpy and humidity chart analysis function of climate analysis software weather tool to calculate the annual average effective time percentage under the action of various passive technologies and analyse.On this basis,through the spatial interpolation function of ARCGIS10.3 software,the annual average effective time percentage of various passive technologies is visually simulated and calculated to form a trend map of the effective time percentage distribution of various passive technologies in the region.The distribution map can intuitively judge the applicability of passive technology in the region.Through the analysis of the applicability of passive technology,combined with the climate characteristics of hot summer and cold winter regions,the passive technologies suitable for hot summer and cold winter regions are: natural ventilation technology,natural lighting technology,shading technology,passive solar energy utilization technology and surrounding The thermal insulation technology of the protective structure,and summarizes the basic form and performance characteristics of the above passive technology,from the perspective of a single technology,analyzes the impact of passive technology on the architectural form.Then from a holistic point of view,the influence of a variety of passive technologies on the architectural layout,architectural form,facade form and space form is studied.Summarized the performance characteristics of the architectural form in the hot summer and cold winter area under the influence of passive technology,that is,adaptive expression,overall expression and regional expression,combined with engineering practice projects to confirm the research conclusion of the article.It is hoped that through the research discussion in this article,we can provide reference and reference for future correlation research.
