With the development of economy,the competitions between enterprises get more and more fierce.In order to survive in the fierce competition,it is necessary to improve the competitive advantage of enterprises.For the manufacturing industry,the development of the industry has entered an era of meager profit.To gain more profits,enterprises must improve production efficiency and reduce production costs.Statistics show that about 20%to 50% of manufacturing costs are affected by the layout of facilities.To minimize production costs,reasonable facility layout is the premise and foundation.The production type of Company L is a typical discrete production,and the characteristics of its products are the complex processing technology,the different processing time,the high machining accuracy requirements and the long production cycle,etc.It is found in the previous research that the layout of the workshop facilities is an important factor affecting the further development of Company L.Due to the lack of long-term planning during the construction of the machine shop,the current layout of the facilities cannot meet the production needs,and the update of equipment is difficult to carry out smoothly.In order to improve the efficiency and benefit of the enterprise,it is necessary to optimize and improve the facility layout of the machine shop.This paper first analyzes the background,purpose,and significance of the research,summarizes and comments on the research status of workshop facility layout,optimization algorithm,modeling and simulation methods,and summarizes the research content and research methods of this paper.Then,theories and methods of facility layout optimization,including facility layout,Systematic Layout Planning,social network analysis,genetic algorithm,discrete event simulation,etc.,are generalized and analyzed.Moreover,this paper analyze the P-Q and process of machine shop,divide workshop operation unit,draw F-D analysis chart and analyze the problems and causes of the layout of machine shop facilities.The SLP method is used for logistics analysis and non-logistics analysis of the machine shop,and the comprehensive correlation is obtained by weighting.In order to reduce the influence of human factors in the Scheme generation,the social network analysis method is combined with SLP to obtain the initial layout plan.A mathematical model for workshop layout optimization is established,and use genetic algorithms to optimize the initial plan to obtain an optimized facility layout plan.Finally,the eM-Plantsimulation software was used to establish a simulation model of the facility layout before and after optimization.Throughout the comparison between the simulation operation and effect,the optimized solution reduced the logistics handling volume by 11.11%.The facility layout optimization method proposed in this paper can significantly improve the logistics efficiency of the machine shop of Company L,reduce production costs,and provide theoretical and methodological support for the optimization of the facility layout of the machine shop.Therefore,the facility layout optimization method proposed in this paper can significantly improve the logistics efficiency of the machine shop of Company L and reduce production costs,which provides theoretical and methodological support for the optimization of the facility layout of the machine shop.
