With the rapid development of related industries such as motors and electrical appliances,the demand for enameled wire has also increased.Therefore,the quality of enameled wire directly affects the quality of related products such as electrical machinery and electrical appliances.Because the enameled wire production process can not eliminate the hidden dangers caused by the continuity defect of the enameled wire,it is necessary to pass equipment testing to avoid hidden dangers.This paper analyzes several traditional detection methods at home and abroad,and finds that they can not meet the detection requirements of complex field environment.So this paper proposes several weak signal detection methods.To suppress the Interference caused by the production environment of the workshop to the enameled wire inspection,we use LMS adaptive time delay estimation algorithm to detect enameled wire defects,And the main research contents are as follows:(1)Based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the existing mainstream enameled paint film continuity detection methods,two methods for signal delay estimation and detection are proposed,including correlation method,adaptive method and so on.Due to the adaptive algorithm does not require the characteristics of prior interference knowledge,the LMS adaptive time delay estimation algorithm is selected as the signal processing algorithm for continuous detection of enameled paint film.(2)According to the detection requirements of the project and the characteristics of two-way adaptive delay estimation detection,a set of enameled wire defect signal acquisition system is designed.The sensor uses infrared pair tube,and the infrared drive circuit and main control circuit are designed,and the platform is built on the on-site workshop,the the continuity test data of the enameled wire is measured.(3)A preliminary analysis of the collected enameled wire data is carried out,and the noise signal is initially judged based on the actual acquisition situation.Then the LMS adaptive time delay estimation algorithm is used to process the collected enameled wire data to calculate the delay value.The theoretical delay value is obtained by calculating the distance between the two infrared tubes and the linear velocity of the enameled wire movement.We can judge whether the enameled wire has continuity defects by comparing the two data and setting the appropriate judgment basis according to the actual situation.(4)Using the control variable method,the effects of sampling rate and line velocity on adaptive filter adaptive step size and filter order selection in adaptive time delay estimation algorithm are analyzed by using multiple sets of enameled wire data.According to analyze the data we can see LMS adaptive time delay estimation algorithm can better identify the defects of the enameled wire paint film and the method basically meet the design verification requirements.
