A Research On Irregular Flight Plan Management Improvement Of Xiamen Airlines

The irregular flight is difficult to avoid for the variety of reasons,which disrupts normal operation of the airline's flight schedule,give rise to a waste of the operating resources,increase operating cost and affect the economic benefit and social reputation of the airlines.The irregular flight also give a great impact on passengers'regular travel.As the passengers' demand for fast travel grows rapidly,social and economic problems caused by irregular flights are becoming more and more prominent.Therefore,it is urgent for the airlines to find an available and effective solution to improve the management capabilities of irregular flights.Irregular flight management is an extremely complex systemic problem,involving a lot of aspects,such as the flight schedule,flight support,flight release,CDM management and the irregular flight schedule recoery.This research starts from flight schedule management,studying the related domestic and foreign research and practice,then chose Xiamen Airlines as the research object to analyse the flight delay data in order to point out the Xiamen Airlines' problems in the irregular flight schedule management which is in view of the fact that Xiamen Airlines' flight on-time rate has been low in recent years.The problems includes the over dependent on manual operation,the lag-behind of system construction,the delayed interation,the complex process and so on,which cause inefficient and unreason information able consequences during the process of flight plinning and irregular flight schedule recovery.Finally,the author puts forward the improvement views on two aspects of the flight schedule and irregular flight plan recovery.First to build a intelligent scheduling system,an integrated information sharing platform,process transformation and enhancing the robustness of flight planning to improve the efficiency and rationality of flight planning.Second,on the basis of sorting out the irregular flight plan recovery rules,the intelligent flight plan recovery system to improve the recovery efficiency and rationality.
