With the effective advancement of the "13th Five-Year Plan" of civil aviation, aviation industry of China has developed rapidly, and aviation network of China has become increasingly complex. With the hugely changing of Chinese aviation network, theoretical study the development and new structure characteristics of the aviation network of China,or exploration of relationships and coordination capabilities of airlines in the network, which is of great significance to the in-depth understanding of the aviation network of China and the scientific decision-making of airlines. The complex network theory is used to established a new China Aviation Network(NANC)and previous models over the years to study the development and changes of aviation network of China is analyzed. At the same time, the theory is used to establish the Domestic Aviation Network of China(DANC)and the Integrate Aviation Network of China(IANC),as well as the impact of cross-border routes on aviation network of China is comparatively analyzed. The multi-layer complex network theory is further used to establish an airline-supported China Aviation Multi-layed Network model(CAMN),structural characteristics and evolution laws of which are explored, and the network coordination ability is simulated based on the multi-layer model. The specific research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)In response to the rapid increase in the number of airports and the proportion of cross-border routes in the aviation network, through the statistical comparison and analysis of the main characteristics between NANC to previous years, between IANA to DANC,the network density has increased over the years but decreased due to the addition of cross-border routes. The characteristics of small-world,scale-free,and heterogeneous of network are always the same.Further, the three central indicators are used to discover important airports in the network, and it is found that Urumqi Airport,Harbin Airport, and Hong Kong Airport play a "bridge" in the network.(2)According to the calculation and statistics of the main features of CAMN,it is concluded that the aviation multi-layer network of China is composed of a large number of airports with a low total degree and a small number of airports with a high total degree, and the total degree value follows the power law distribution characteristic. The route allocation situation is different, and the airports with larger total degrees are relatively evenly assigned to the airlines.airports with smaller total degrees are more likely to be aggregated than airports with larger total degrees.(3)By simulating the aggregation process of CAMN,it is found that the characteristics of high clustering coefficients, short feature path lengths, and a large number of reachable destination sets in the Chinese aviation network are formed by the gradual aggregation of the airline network layers. The small world phenomenon is mainly presented by large airlines, and low-cost airlines can make the network more homogeneous.(4)Based on the multi-layer network model, combining network dynamics and cascading effects, the coordination operation between airlines is simulated after network routes are subject to random failures to explore its cascading invulnerability, and the coordination ability is explored based on the ratio of failure to reach the destination after coordination. The analysis of simulation results shows that cooperation among airlines can effectively improve the network coordination ability and the existence of some airline alliances has actually played a positive role in the coordination ability of the aviation network.
