With the development of social economy and technology,more and more irregular structures appear in new buildings.Due to the destructiveness and uncertainty of earthquake action,the seismic calculation and analysis of this type of structure should be strengthened,and necessary structural measures should be taken to ensure the basic safety of the public.The research background of this paper is a multi-storey spiral shopping mall building.In order to form a barrier-free shopping street and achieve a better commercial effect,the building adopts a spiraling structure.Therefore,the building structure has several irregular types,such as large torsion,local discontinuity of the floor,irregular lateral stiffness,and interlayer,etc.,which are particularly irregular structures and require seismic performance design.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:1)in the structural modeling stage,the modeling calculation is carried out according to the plate model and the inclined plate model respectively,so as to determine the appropriate modeling method for this type of structure.when selecting the structure,the frame structure and the frame shear wall structure are used for seismic analysis respectively,so as to determine the relatively reasonable structure form.2)the mode decomposition response spectrum method is adopted to calculate the elasticity under frequent earthquake.The structural analysis software of SATWE and PMSAP,two different mechanical models,was used for overall calculation to evaluate whether the structure meets the overall index requirements of the specification.the time history analysis method is adopted for the supplementary calculation under frequent earthquake.3)the equivalent elastic method is adopted to check the seismic performance of structural members under moderate earthquake and rare earthquake.Elastoplastic dynamic time-history analysis under rare earthquake was conducted using SAUSAGE.By simulating the real-time response of the structure under the predicted rare earthquake,the failure mode and yield mechanism of the structure can be comprehensively evaluated in addition to further confirming whether the structure can achieve the expected performance target.Based on the above analysis results,the seismic strengthening measures and other structural measures are put forward.The analysis results show that the structure system is reasonable,the analysis results are reliable,and its seismic performance meets the requirements of the specification and the expected performance targets.It can be used as reference for similar projects.
