This subject mainly refers to a core part unit of Train Control and Monitoring System(TCMS)-the driver display control unit(DDU),and its relevant control technology.According to the practical requirements of electric locomotive for railway industry application,this paper starts to carry on one research,analysis and development for DDU unit.With applying the embedded software technology into this design and making full of the advantage of train communication network in the field of monitoring and controlling,one DDU unit for electric locomotive TCMS is developed.During the research and development in this subject,firstly,the background and significance of the research has been told.Then the development trend of TCMS both at home and abroad is presented.After comparison and analysis of existing domestic driver display in terms of content of the display,communication protocol and other aspects,one solution comes up for this subject.Starting from the principle and architecture of the TCMS system in electric locomotive,the paper analyzes all the relevant monitoring and controlling functions and make clear all the design requirement.The development for DDU unit has involved in many fields of technology,including the application of WorldFIP bus of the train network communication,the development of embedded system software development,also the design of human-machine interface in accordance with requirements of the electric locomotive TCMS system.In summary,this thesis designs a new type of DDU base on one embedded system software,using WorldFIP bus to communicate.It can realize locomotive statues information collecting and graphic displaying.And with the mass production as a goal,the subject also finalizes the development by type test and routine test in which verification specifications and test methods are met.
