Impact Of Risk Management On Project Success For Construction Projects Of Water And Power Development Authority Of Pakistan

The main purpose of this research was to study the "Impact of Risk Management on Project Success for Construction Projects of Water and Power Development Authority of Pakistan"..The survey that conducted to the respondents was developed according to the research approach,design,primary and secondary data.Two major segments were included in this sort of survey and analysis.The first segment inquires the method adopted in the companies to manage the risk.In second segment,the survey endeavor to specify if the project they experienced achieved the project success,this was according four criteria factors were defined for construction project success listed in the questionnaire.Eighty questionnaires were distributed among respondents or employees of Water and Power Development Authority of Pakistan(WAPDA)from which 50 questionnaires got back with percentage of 62%.The data from questionnaires are then analyzed using SPSS and MS excel to test reliability and validity of data.In this paper five hypotheses were proposed and all of them were examined and found valid.Finally,we examined each hypothesis using regression analysis and found that there is an impact lives between risk management and project success(cost,time,technical specification and quality)within the project.
