With the rapid development of the economy,the global manufacturing industry has also developed rapidly.On the domestic front,the State Council officially issued"Made in China 2025" in May 2015,deploying a comprehensive strategy to promote the implementation of a manufacturing powerhouse.Internationally,the German government proposes the "Industry 4.0" strategy,which aims to improve the competitiveness of German industry and take the lead in the new round of industrial revolution.With the change of industry,the traditional project management model has been far from meeting the current speed of change of enterprises and market demands.In the context of manufacturing globalization,how to efficiently and quickly deliver products that meet market demands has become one of the most concerned issues for enterprises.This article is based on the agile perspective of R company's aircraft seat customization project research,mainly to study how the company added agile elements in the project management process,hoping that the agile project management model and practice mentioned in the practical discussion of this article can be used for traditional manufacturing enterprises.The same type of projects provide reference for solving the problems that enterprises may encounter in the process of agile transformation.Compared with the agile project management in the software industry,the manufacturing industry rarely uses agile theory as the main management method for project management.Some domestic and foreign research and discussion of agile models or management processes are more focused on product development projects in the software industry.There are relatively few researches related to agile project management in the manufacturing industry,and most of them do not discuss in depth how to practice.Many companies have tried agile transformation,but have not succeeded.Taking the project management theory as the starting point,this article introduces the traditional project management theory and the agile project management theory respectively.After comparing and discussing the two,the current situation and development trend of agile project management in the non-software industry are analyzed.Through the analysis of the current situation of the R company aircraft seat customization project,the problems in the project's organizational structure,management process and management method are analyzed,and corresponding improvement measures are proposed.The author of this article builds a project management model with the characteristics of traditional manufacturing through the company characteristics that he has worked in R company and learned.It has the characteristics of both waterfall management process and agile project management,which can be said to be a fusion of the two.To find the agile practice method most suitable for the manufacturing industry and provide theoretical basis and practical reference for subsequent research.
