Taiyuan Locomotive Depot is equipped with 20 HXD1 HIGH-POWER AC drive electric locomotives,which are made in China.They are mainly responsible for the traction of freight trains on Taizhongyin Railway,become the main model of freight transportation of Taizhongyin Railway.However,there are high slopes in this section of the line,especially vulnerable to idling in bad weather when the track surface is wet.From March to April in 2019,four consecutive rolling stops occurred on HXD1 locomotives,which caused equipment failure and seriously affected the operation of locomotives.Therefore,it is urgent to solve the problem.The main measure to prevent locomotive idling is to increase the adhesion coefficient.In order to improve the adhesion coefficient,the method of sanding is generally adopted.If there's a problem with the sanding system,the adhesion coefficient will be greatly reduced in cloudy and rainy weather.In the limited scope of adhesion coefficient,the utilization ratio of adhesion is improved as much as possible so that the locomotive can exert maximum traction.We also take into account the use of the control handle,rapid upgrade bit easy to induce idling,the handle to maintain the maximum level not conducive to inhibit idling after idling occurs.In order to effectively solve the problem of idling of HXD1 type locomotives on Taizhongyin Railway,this paper analyzes the factors that cause idling from the aspects of principle analysis,field investigation and data analysis.We find out the crux and formulate the corresponding measures.After the implementation,the idling times of type HXD1 locomotives on Taizhongyin Railway are reduced,the locomotive stop on the slope effectively prevented.And the experience of dealing with the idling problem of locomotives is accumulated.
