With the rapid growth of China's economy,my country's auto industry has developed tremendously,and the number of motor vehicles has grown rapidly.The large number of cars also leads to frequent traffic accidents,which brings great challenges to the safety of cars and the identification of accidental vehicles in traffic accidents.The vehicle braking system is an important part of the entire car.The braking performance of the braking system is related to the safety of the driver when driving.Therefore,the detection of the braking system has very important significance for the entire car detection.With the development of portable intelligent testing equipment,more and more testing institutions adopt road test to test braking performance.Now many companies and research institutes are committed to developing more convenient and accurate road test equipment.However,most of the testing instruments are used by the driver to complete the vehicle braking during the detection.The reaction time of the driver of the tested vehicle to the brake signal during the detection process often causes the initial speed of the vehicle to decay during braking.In response to this problem,this paper designs an automatic braking mechanism composed of a linear motor and a mechanical leg,which is combined with a brake detector to increase the speed of the brake response and reduce the attenuation of the initial braking speed.The article first studies the relevant national standards for road test to detect braking performance,and determines the measurement indicators of the detector.The related theory of the attitude solution of the navigation coordinate system of the inertial sensor is also studied,the inertial sensor is used as the acceleration acquisition instrument,and the overall plan of the brake detector is formulated.Then,the hardware composition of the detector is described in detail,different types of sensors are studied,and the MPU-6050 sensor is used to collect acceleration information,and the working principle is also explained;The selected STM32 microcontroller is described;The composition and related principle of LCD are introduced;The braking mechanism designed in this paper is emphatically studied,the design requirements and braking principle are introduced,and kinematic simulation is carried out to verify that the braking mechanism can meet the braking requirements.Secondly,the development of the detector software program based on the embedded C language in the MDK5 environment mainly includes: the study of the sensor acceleration signal integration algorithm,the development of the sensor signal reading and processing program;the development of the vehicle braking performance evaluation parameters Calculation program;developed tester operation interface and display interface program.Finally,the portable vehicle brake performance tester developed in this paper was tested in real car and compared with MBK-01 tester.The test results are analyzed to prove the accuracy of the braking performance test of this instrument.Meanwhile,the unique braking mechanical leg of this instrument can complete the vehicle braking well,reduce the influence of drivers on the test process during the test,and reduce the attenuation of the initial braking speed,thus achieving the research purpose of this paper.
