At present, innovation has become an important driving force for a new round of economic growth and urban social transformation and development. As the main body of innovation and entrepreneurship, talents are an important factor in promoting regional economic growth and urban innovation and development. In this context, the study of the temporal and spatial evolution of talent agglomeration, and the in-depth analysis of its impact on urban land use,not only enriches the theoretical research of talent agglomeration, but also sovles how to attract talents and better gather talents to promote urban innovation and development. On basis of literature analysis, this paper uses Hangzhou as an empirical evidence to integrate GIS spatial analysis and spatial statistical methods for the growth and trend of talent scale in 2000-2016,the structure and evolution of talent density, and the spatial distribution of talents. The mode and change, the relationship between talent agglomeration and urban land use,and the in-depth study. The main conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)The overall growth rate of talents is slowing down, the talents in urban central areas tend to be saturated, and the development of talents in urban peripheral areas lags behind.(2)The distribution of talents has evolved from“single-center structure" to "multi-center structure".(3)The concentration of talent space is increasing, and the urban central area is always a hot spot for talent gathering.(4)Urban land has a positive guiding role for talent gathering, among which the public service type land attracts talents.Far above the commercial service landBased on the research conclusions,it is clear that the main problems of talent concentration at this stage are "the overall growth rate of talent is slowing down, the talents in urban central areas tend to be saturated, and the multi-center structure of talents in urban peripheral areas is developing slowly”.Therefore, the peripheral areas of cities are the future leading talents. To support the main areas of talent development. Finally, based on the spatial evolution characteristics of talents, the talent agglomeration models in the urban peripheral areas of Hangzhou divide into four types.According to the differences in the impact of different types of urban land on talent agglomeration, targeted spatial development goals and guiding measures are proposed. It has a positive reference for orderly guidance and attracting talents to form a multi-center distribution structure and further promote urban transformation and development.
