With the development of the urbanization and the continuous improvement of the motorization level,the traffic congestion of the city is becoming normal and networked,and the main reason for the traffic jam is the imbalance of the traffic structure,as the residents are no longer in a single mode,The travel mode chain cost is one of the decisive factors of the traffic structure control decision.At present,some achievements have been made in the research on travel costs,but the travel mode chain,especially the mode conversion cost within the mode chain,is relatively limited.A complete measurement of the cost of the mode chain will provide some basic support for the formulation and implementation of relevant policies.Therefore,from the perspective of travel mode chain,this paper constructs a mode conversion cost measurement model,uses the method of maximum willingness to pay to calibrate relevant parameters,establishes a complete mode chain cost measurement model,and makes a simple application to this model.The details are as follows:(1)In order to establish the mode chain conversion cost measurement model,explore the concept and origin of travel mode chain,study the composition and calculation model of travel mode chain cost,and elaborate the cost calculation method of each single travel mode.The calculation model of mode conversion cost is established,and the model is calibrated by the method of maximum willingness to pay.A set of fixed conversion cost matrix and the cost function about conversion time and conversion order are obtained.(2)Based on the traditional "four-stage method",a mode selection model based on the travel mode chain is established.The model calculates the travel mode chain cost mainly through the travel mode chain cost calculation model,and uses the MNL model to obtain the proportion of each travel mode chain.Finally,the mode chain is decomposed with the operation as the standard to obtain the final single-mode travel sharing rate.(3)Taking Hangzhou City as an example,the conversion cost of mode chain and the mode selection model based on mode chain are applied to calculate the share ratio of three mode chains of commuters from Wending Garden in residential area to Binjiang Park of Alibaba.When the perception coefficient is smaller,the sharing rate of each mode chain tends to average.When the perception coefficient is 0.1,the three modes chain is decomposed to get the respective sharing rate of bus and subway.When the research area is expanding,the model can be used to control and optimize the travel structure of the whole region,which can provide a theoretical basis for the macro prediction of traffic planning.
