The Investigation And Optimization Research On The Space Environment Of The Characteristic Old Streets In Lanzhou City

As an important part of urban community space environment,old streets and alleys are the urban public space most closely connected with People’s Daily life.Based on the construction requirements of urban old streets and alleys in China,this paper systematically investigated the spatial environment of characteristic old streets and alleys in Lanzhou city,comprehensively applied literature research,comparative research,case study,questionnaire distribution and other methods,started from the spatial elements of streets and alleys,and targeted to select the characteristic urban cultural old streets and alleys.The historical evolution,street interface,street greening and street furniture of the old streets and alleys were investigated and analyzed respectively.The thermal environment of the street space environment was investigated by questionnaire and field measurement,and the correlation was analyzed.Lanzhou old streets because of the lack of attention and streets own mismanagement,then led to the interior of the old streets of the city life gradually lose function,combined with the rapid rise of urban real estate industry,promote the street residents relocated to the newly built residential quarters,urban construction and retrofit of old streets can’t keep up with the process of urbanization,the construction of the old streets in the urban development gradually marginalized,each of old streets carries unique urban culture hidden in the rapid development of urbanization gradually.Come to this,it is necessary for us at the entrances to the old streets and lanes in the interface,set the streets history culture wall and slogan,to lanzhou old streets conveys the unique attributes of urban culture,at the same time because of the old streets construction s remote,overall interface for the streets,we should lanes will be unique cultural and material combination,integrate the streets interface.To further improve the residents’ quality of life in the old streets,the old streets in the streets of landscaping and street furniture,should according to the street space bar,in the streets of pedestrians and part of the car through the premise,the streets are installed in streets and lanes available space virescence and various public facilities,rich in street furniture at the same time,also meet the needs of the residents in the streets of deep life.It is hoped that through the results of this study,residents’ life in the old streets and alleys will be more integrated with the surrounding business districts.It has important theoretical value and practical significance for the construction of old urban streets with regional characteristics.The shortcoming of this study is that the research methods on the spatial environment of old streets and alleys are relatively conventional,and it is impossible to explore the reconstruction methods of old streets and alleys from a deep perspective.How to improve the spatial environment of old streets and alleys more environmentally friendly and conveniently is the direction of future research.
