Outdoor fire hydrants are more visible and easy to find,as well as more convenient to use and maintain,but some outdoor fire hydrants are more difficult to find due to the fact that are not installed Changes in ground level can cause a hydrant's drainage opening to become blocked,resulting in insufficient water pressure or the inability to drain water.Therefore,as a hydrant department,it is important to know how to manage outdoor hydrants scientifically and quickly find a specific location for a hydrant that can Quick and easy access to available fire hydrants in the event of a fire is a desire and requirement of the fire department.In this paper,we analyze the characteristics of outdoor fire hydrants,the management status of traditional fire hydrants and the domestic intelligent fire fighting system to design an intelligent fire hydrant.A system for monitoring fire hydrant data.The paper will build the system from three aspects:data collection,server,and mobile terminal.The data acquisition of the hydrant is done by a smart sensor mounted on the outside of the hydrant,which integrates a variety of sensors to the The collected data is transmitted wirelessly via NB-IoT.After the data is transmitted to the server,it is saved in the database and packaged in json format and pushed to the mobile terminal.The mobile terminal uses the Android platform to work,which can realize the functions of locating,querying,navigating and alerting the fire hydrant.The main efforts and results are as follows.(1)Requirements analysis and system functional design.The thesis analyzes the requirements and proposes the scheme and specific functional requirements,taking into account the development status of domestic fire safety monitoring system.By investigating the feasibility of relevant technologies,the feasible technical indexes and design objectives of the scheme are finally obtained.(2)Overall design of the system.Through the sensors installed inside the fire hydrant,the information of water temperature and pressure of each hydrant can be obtained in real time,and the data can be transmitted to the mobile phone.terminal,which allows intelligent monitoring of the hydrant on a mobile terminal.(3)The design of each function of the system was implemented,tested and verified.The project completed the design of the system model and tested and verified the software part of the system.The tested system has high stability and meets the proposed requirements.The research results of the project can be applied to realize the intelligent management and monitoring of outdoor fire hydrants.
