Application Of BIM In Cost Consulting Enterprise Information Management

With the development of the information age,the cost consulting industry has also undergone great changes.Its business is developing in a diversified direction,and the competition in the industry is becoming more and more fierce.For this reason,the cost consulting enterprise should strengthen the information management and improve its own cost management level,so as to seek more economic benefits for the construction project.BIM technology is an advanced technology derived from the information age.It has been widely used in the design and construction of engineering projects.However,the application of BIM based cost consulting management is still scarce.Cost consulting enterprises should actively integrate the advantages of BIM technology,closely follow the development trend of the construction industry,so that all aspects of cost consulting management can realize resource sharing and information exchange.This research takes BIM technology-based cost consulting information management as the main research content,first analyzes the problems in actual cost management,and then makes every effort to BIM cost consulting information management system based on the business situation of the cost consulting company and the advantages of BIM technology.The effective application of BIM technology is discussed deeply through the case analysis of experimental building project of a certain University in Wuhan.Through this study,it fully reflects the application value of BIM in cost management and improves the analytical ability and accuracy of cost consulting management.It hasachieved the whole process cost management goals covering the decision-making,design,bidding,construction,completion and other stages of the project,promoted the systematization and refinement of cost management,and thus reached the goal of controlling investment costs.According to the results of the research,it can be seen that using BIM technology for cost information management in cost consulting enterprises can play an effective role in promoting the business strength and sustainable development of enterprises,and promote the development of information technology in the cost consulting industry.
