The formation of complex double curvature plates is one of the difficulties in the production of hull plates.Due to the advantages of high efficiency,the application of high frequency induction heating to line heating become a research focus.For canvas plates,a special triangular induction heating process is required.The elastic-plastic finite model is usually used in prediction of deformation after induct heating,however it takes a lot of time and is difficult to be used in calculation of plates with multiple heating lines.The paper uses the elastic finite element method based on inherent strain to solve the deformation calculation of the induction heating bending of the plate.The actual distribution of inherent strain along heating line is considered in the application of the inherent strain in this paper.The results shows that the error between the calculation results based on inherent strain method adopting the solid element and the experiment results agrees the calculation acquirement.The modified finite element model can be applied to the induction heating predication calculation of the plate.For triangle induct heating,the elastic-plastic finite model is built and the temperature distribution,the stress and strain and the deformation along the heating line is analysised by calculation results.After that,the temperature method is applied,and the inherent strain is loaded according to the strain distribution of the thermal-elastic plastic calculation results.Comparing the calculation results with the calculation results based on the load distribution of inherent strain,the calculation error can meet the requirements of engineering calculationThe influence of the plate thickness,speed,radius of curvature and other parameters on the distribution of plastic strain is analyzed and established.Finally,the triangle induction heating experiment of the roll bending plate was carried out,and the overall deformation of the roll bending plate was calculated by the inherent strain method.The numerical calculation results are in good agreement with the experimental results,which proves that The accuracy of the calculation method for the formation of canvas plates.
