Study On Urban Open Residential Area Planning And Design From The Perspective Of Walking Living Circle

With the continuous improvement of China's social development,more and more residents put forward more new requirements for the improvement of living conditions.How to create a more comfortable,more convenient,more civilized and healthy living environment in the planning and construction of modern residential areas is not only the requirement of The Times,but also the demand of the market.In the face of various social problems such as traffic congestion and declining vitality caused by traditional closed residential areas,the planning and construction of open residential areas have gradually become an effective way for the sustainable development of residential areas in China in the future.At the same time,in the new "planning and design standards for urban residential areas" issued in 2018,a new design standard was proposed to divide residential scale by "walking living circle",in which the establishment of related requirements on supporting facilities,road system and living environment also laid a foundation for the future opening of residential areas.Therefore,this paper starts from the perspective of constructing the walking living circle,summarizes the development experience of open residential areas at home and abroad,and aims at the main existing problems of closed residential areas,so as to explore more feasible planning and design strategies of open residential areas,which can be used for the reconstruction of existing residential areas and the planning of new residential areas.The content of the paper is arranged as follows: the introduction clarifies the necessity of building open residential areas through the elaboration of the research background,and then puts forward the research purpose and significance of the paper.Through sorting out the related research trends at home and abroad,this paper points out that the research fields of living circle and open residential area still need to be improved,and proves the rationality of the research.The second chapter makes a specific analysis of relevant theories and cases of open residential areas,summarizes the basic characteristics of open residential areas,and improves the concept definition.Chapter three,by reviewing the development and evolution of residential areas in China,puts forward that the current closed residential areas are not conducive to the sustainable development of cities in China,summarizes the construction elements of pedestrian living circles,and points out the necessity of implementing open residential areas from the three aspects of supporting facilities,residential interface and public activity space.The fourth chapter expounds the planning and design strategy of open residential areas from the perspective of planning and design principles and planning and design methods,in order to provide a practical model for the construction of open residential areas in the future.Finally,this paper summarizes the previous part,points out the limitations of the study,and makes a prospect for the research prospect of open residential areas.
