| According to the 2017 "China Women’s Development Program(2010-2020)" statistical monitoring report pointed out that my country’s urban women employed 43%,most women began to enter the job market, occupying an important position in commuting travel. After work, women are also responsible for major housework activities and child care, which makes their daily activities travel chain more complicated due to the combination of child care and daily housework activities, and the activity space is also more compact. At the same time, with the continuous expansion of Chinese cities, the disintegration of the unit system, the suburbanization of population, residence, industry and other factors, the continuous improvement of the urban transportation system, the urban space has become increasingly complex.Against this background, the daily travel difficulties of urban employed women have gradually attracted attention from all walks of life.Existing studies have conducted in-depth exploration of the characteristics and influencing factors of female activity travel behavior, and provided important theoretical and empirical support for subsequent research. However, most of the existing researches analyze the travel behaviors based on the perspectives of individual women, and rarely approach them from the perspective of families. In fact, due to the social role that women play in the family, they have a strong interaction in the family. For most family women, the geographical background of their daily activities is at least in addition to the place of residence and employment;at least it also involves children’s schools and husbands’ places of employment.Women’s daily travel behavior will change with the distribution of family activities and the travel conditions provided by the built environment. Therefore, the thesis is based on the perspective of the family, and mainly focuses on the relationship between the built environment and the distribution of family activities and the traveling activities of employed women and the relationship between the two.First,on the basis of summarizing the research results of daily activities of urban women at home and abroad,a theoretical framework for the research of daily activities of urban employed women from a family perspective is presented, and the research ideas and methods of the paper are expounded systematically.Secondly, using the 2016 Kunming Resident Travel Survey data,a typical dual-employee core family sample was selected to establish a sub-database,and the latitude and longitude coordinates of the day’s activity location of male and female members were extracted.Visual analysis of the spatiotemporal characteristics of their daily activities was performed along the built environment and gender. The two main lines of difference analyze the daily travel patterns, activity patterns, and characteristics of family division of employment of urban women, and qualitatively analyze the relationship between the built environment, family division of labor, and daily behaviors of employed women. Finally, the logistic regression and structural equation model were used to quantitatively analyze the impact mechanism and decision-making process of urban employed women’s daily activities. The results of the study indicate that women living in new districts lacking perfect living facilities and a good environment for public transportation, the increase in car commuting far exceeds that of men in the same environment, and it is easier for women to link housework activities during travel. This is the internal cause of this result.Further observing the differences in the decision-making methods of the two sexes,it was found that men had to take up housework due to car commuting, while women chose to commute after accepting the allocation of family activities. This feature was particularly prominent in families with children. The built environment of the residence mainly affects the daily activities of the employed women through the internal interaction of the family to change their daily travel behavior. The division of labor in the family is more a mediating variable in the built environment of the residence and the daily activities of the employed women.Restrict and adjust their daily behavior decisions. This article can provide a new perspective for the research on the daily activities of urban employed women, and provide a scientific reference for understanding the spatial reconstruction in the process of urban transformation in China, and promoting people-oriented transportation planning and public policies. |
