Urban transportation planning is an important research area of urban planning. As the focus of passenger transportation, interdisciplinary travel has a strong concentration in travel time, forming morning and evening traffic peaks in the city, which has a significant impact on the transportation environment. The commuting behavior of elementary school students has the dual characteristics of commuting and children's traveling. This group is younger and has a limited ability to travel independently. Its commuting behavior is the result of joint family decision-making.However,the research on student's learning behavior based on family perspective is still insufficient. Therefore, from the perspective of the family, this paper analyzes the characteristics of the general school trips of primary school students in Shenzhen, improves the index system that affects their school trip behaviors, and analyzes the internal impact mechanism of family joint decision-making.Based on the 2016 Shenzhen Resident Survey data, the morning trip data of primary school students aged 6-13 and their family members were screened from it.In order to grasp the characteristics of school trips of elementary school students in Shenzhen, statistical analysis was made on the mode of school trips, distances of school trips, time of school departures, and time of school trips.According to the analysis results,it is found that there is spatial heterogeneity in the characteristics of school trips of primary school students in Shenzhen. The built environment in the original special zone is good, the quality education resources are concentrated, the number of public schools is large and evenly distributed, and the proportion of elementary students who choose to walk to study is higher than outside the original special zone.In order to further explore the influencing mechanism of elementary school students' school trip behavior, based on the existing research results and the actual situation in Shenzhen, improve the index system of influencing factors of student school trip characteristics, and explore the impact of personal factors, family factors, travel characteristic factors and built environment factors.Through the analysis of the results of multiple logistic models, various factors will have a significant impact, but the degree of impact is different.Through the analysis of the characteristics of schoolchildren's school trips in Shenzhen,it is found that there is a phenomenon of parent-accompanied school trips in some families. The characteristics of the subject composition and spatial distribution of schoolmates are analyzed. There are five types of family jointdecision-making in elementary school students' travel behaviors, including transportation-oriented,father-responsible,mother-responsible,elderly-responsible,and child-responsible.By establishing multiple logistic models of influencing factors of family joint decision types,it was found that students 'personal factors, parents' personal factors, and family factors all had significant effects. Finally, combined with the results of descriptive statistics and multiple logistic models for analysis, specific suggestions were made for improving the environment for primary school students to travel in Shenzhen.
