As the development of social economy,the problems caught by traffic,especially the traffic congestion problem on holidays have been more and more serious in recent years.The unbalanced distribution in time and space of traffic flow is an important cause of traffic deterioration.In order to promote the rational allocation of road traffic resources and alleviate traffic congestion of highways on holidays,taking the economic leverage as a means,this paper mainly focuses on the distribution of travel demand in the dimension of time,and analyzes the adjustment of travel demand on highway based on variable rate.Firstly,based on the mechanism of variable rate,this paper combines the method of RP and SP to investigate travel behaviors and preference choice behaviors on holidays under variable rate,and analyzes the characteristics of travel behavior on toll holidays,the intentional travel choice under variable rate and the impact of variable rate on the travel choice behavior from multiple dimensions,which provides data support for modeling and analysis.Secondly,based on the results of travel choice on highway under variable rate,the study carries on modeling travel time choice on toll holidays.This paper proposes a model of travel time choice on highway based on nested logit-cumulative prospect theory,and establishes the models of travel time choice on highway under the original pricing and variable rate respectively.In this paper,the difference of risk preference coefficient is considered.The case study shows that the overall prediction errors of the model only based on nested logit and the model proposed in this paper are 22.22% and 14.14% respectively.Therefore,compared with only based on nested logit model,the model proposed in this paper is helpful to improve the accuracy of travel behavior decision-making prediction results.Thirdly,according to the survey on traveling choice under variable rate,this paper establishes a model of travel demand on holidays based on variable rate.By fitting the relationship function between traffic demand and change of pricing,the demand proportion of different travel time periods under the variable rate is calculated.This paper divides the periods according to the characteristics of the distribution of travel demand under the variable rate,and establishes the travel demand model of different periods under the variable rate.By discrete processing demand model of different periods,this paper establishes the model of travel demand in different time under variable rate.Finally,this paper designs the framework of adjustment of travel demand based on variable rate,and studies the evaluation method of adjustment of travel demand.In this paper,the evaluation system and comprehensive evaluation method of adjustment of travel demand based on variable rate are established.In this paper,the micro traffic simulation method is used to obtain the comprehensive evaluation value of the schemes of variable rate,as well as the optimal adjustment pricing and the travel demand.In this paper,the method of adjustment of travel demand on holidays is analyzed,which can balance distribution of traffic flow on highway in the dimension of time,reduce the waste of road traffic resources,and improve the efficiency of road network operation.
