As an adjustable load resource,the participation of flexible loads in the market can increase the flexibility of the power grid and bring huge economic and social benefits to the system.With the advance of market construction,the spot market is gradually transferring to the clearing stage of the combined market of electric energy and auxiliary services under the bilateral quotation mode.The conditions for flexible loads to participate in the joint market of spot and auxiliary services are gradually established.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to carry out joint research on the flexible load participating in the electrical energy and reserve capacity joint clearing under the bilateral quotation model.This paper summarized the research status of flexible load modeling at home and abroad,joint power market clearance model,bidding strategy in joint market,and pointed out the necessity and feasibility of flexible load participation in joint market clearance.In view of the problems related to the flexible load participating in the joint market of electric energy and reserve capacity under bilateral quotation,this paper conducted research from the following four aspects:1)classified modeling of the electrical characteristics of different types of flexible loads;2)studied on the economic benefits after flexible load participating in the joint clearing of energy and reserve capacity markets;3)studied the impact of different proportion of flexible loads on joint market;4)simulated the optimal bidding strategy of flexible load participating in joint market environment,and analyzed the market clearing and profit.The specific work is as follows:Firstly,the supply and demand theory,price formation mechanism and social welfare mechanism of spot market were introduced in detail,and the spot clearing algorithm and improved genetic algorithm were introduced,which laid the foundation for the research of the following chapters.Secondly,the electrical characteristics of typical flexible loads,such as electric vehicles and air conditioners,were studied.It showed that flexible load had scheduling potential.Then according to the electricity characteristics of different types of flexible loads,scheduling models of three types of flexible loads in joint market were established.Thirdly,in order to solve the scheduling problem of joint market clearing for flexible loads under bilateral quotation mode,an electrical energy and reserve capacity joint clearing model considering the flexible load under the bilateral quotation model was established.Based on the CPLEX platform,an example simulation was conducted with the data of a certain province,and the effectiveness of the proposed model was verified by the changes of system parameters such as peak and valley differences,flexible load self-benefits and social welfare.Then,different clearing situations of the market under different proportion of flexible loads were studied.According to the changes of system load peak-valley difference and social welfare and other parameters under different proportion of flexible loads,the influence of flexible load proportion on the market was studied,which indicated that the increase of the proportion of flexible loads was conducive to the improvement of the stable operation level of the power grid and the improvement of social welfare.Finally,in order to study the effect of flexible load bidding strategies on joint market,the optimal bidding strategies with different capacity and different types of flexible load were studied.By constructing a two-layer optimization algorithm to solve the optimal bidding strategy of flexible loads,the inner layer optimization module considered the joint clearing process of flexible loads,and the outer layer optimization module considered the optimization process of optimal bidding strategy under the improved genetic algorithm.Based on the data of a province,simulation examples were carried out.The simulation results showed that different types of flexible loads had different impacts on the market due to the use of bidding strategies.So different price guidance strategies should be adopted for different types of flexible loads.Traditional energy generators(gas,coal,and electricity)are most affected by the flexible load bidding strategy,and clean energy(nuclear,hydro,wind)is relatively less affected.In the market where bidding strategy of flexible load is adopted,measures should be taken to ensure the reasonable income of generating sets,especially traditional energy generating sets.
