Narrative Logic And Space Expression Of The Memorial Museum

Memorial Museum has the function of preserving collective memory and cultivating future generations.It is an important part of national public cultural facilities.With the expansion of aesthetic category and the diversification of life,people are more and more eager for the enrichment and satisfaction of the spiritual world.The design of memorial museums is also increasingly pursuing the emphasis on emotional experience,audience participation and the diversification of space functions,emphasizing the integration of more needs into memorial museums.The historical significance and the value of the times determine that memorial museums’ successful construction mainly lies in how to use space to tell stories,effectively interpret the information conveyed by space,produce emotional resonance,and realize the emotional experience demands of memorial museums.Based on the narrative characteristics of memorial museums,this paper combines the design of memorial museums with narrative theories,analyzes the narrative attributes of contemporary memorial museums from the perspective of narrative logic,and explores a set of design methods of memorial museums based on narrative logic,so as to achieve the purpose of effectively constructing story situations,enhancing spatial experience,conveying spiritual connotation and realizing memorial emotional experience,and produce some inspiration to the emotional experience construction of memorial museums from the perspective of methodology.The thesis is mainly divided into four parts to study the narrative logic and spatial expression of memorial museums.The first part,corresponding to the first chapter of the thesis,is an introduction.This part mainly introduces the research origin and background,research content and scope,research purpose and significance,relevant literature review and research methods.Among them,the research status of memorial museums and narrative logic and the application of narrative logic in memorial museums are mainly introduced,which leads to the research topic of this article: to study the design creation and spatial expression of memorial museums from the perspective of narrative logic.The second part,corresponding to the second chapter of the thesis,is a theoretical chapter.This paper mainly introduces the development process and the characteristics of each stage of memorial museums,and clarifies the challenges and new spatial characteristics of memorial museums in contemporary society.This paper also summarizes the origin and development of narratology,and interprets the research content and theoretical characteristics of each stage.In addition,this part also clarifies the narrative features of memorial museums,and summarizes the relationship between narrative logic and memorial museums in the aspects of literariness,structure and space-time.The third part,corresponding to the third and fourth chapters,is the core parts of this paper.On the basis of clarifying the relevance between narrative logic and memorial museum,this chapter is divided into two parts to study the narrative creation of memorial museum.The first part,based on the spatial form of the novel text,translates the structure of narrative logic into the narrative structure of memorial museum,and classifies the narrative structure into "linear structure","juxtaposed structure" and "collage structure".The second part draws lessons from the literariness of narrative logic,and discusses the semantic construction of memorial museums from three aspects of "place vocabulary","formal vocabulary" and "technical vocabulary".The fourth part,corresponding to the fifth chapter of the thesis,four principles of narrative expression of memorial museum space are defined on the basis of the research in the previous part.It also summarizes the design method of narrative expression of memorial museum space,that is,the establishment and expression of narrative theme,the arrangement of narrative rhythm,the generation of spatial structure,the creation of narrative atmosphere.The last chapter is the conclusion of the thesis,which summarizes and reflects the research achievements and the existing deficiencies.
