The Construction And Application Of China’s Airport Economy Index

In recent years,airport economy is developing fast,which has become an engine of regional economic growth.As the engine of regional economic growth,airport economy will inevitably have an important and profound impact on the national economy.Therefore,focusing on its development,conducting truthful follow-up investigations and monitoring of its status are vital for the healthy development of both national and regional economy.The prosperity index is often used as a "barometer" to reflect the status of the industry,and it plays an important role in the economic management and decision-making of enterprises and governments.Therefore,by studying the relevant literatures of airport economy and prosperity index,the connotation of the airport economy index is defined.It is not only good to summarize the laws of economic operation,but also beneficial for macro decision-making departments to use the index to guide practice.Combined with the system theory,10 indicators were selected from the three aspects of macro environment,system input and output to form the candidate indicators of the airport economy index system.By selecting relevant economic indicators of airport economic demonstration zones,leading indicators and consistent indicators are obtained,and the leading index and the consistent index are respectively established using the composite index method.Then,airport economy index is decided by analyzing the correlation of the two indexes with airport economics zones’ GDP.Based on the analysis of the fluctuation of the airport economy index,it finds that the development of China’s airport economy was relatively sluggish from 2013 to 2014,and the development of airport economy continued to rise and was relatively prosperous from 2015 to 2018.Finally,it is pointed out that the application of airport economy index in many aspects.The index not only can provide a reference standard for researchers to construct the index of each airport economic zone,but also can provide a scientific basis for the government,enterprises and relevant departments to formulate correct relevant macroeconomic control policies.
