Research On The Transformation Of Traditional City-Water Adaptability In The Context Of Rapid Urbanization

Fuzhou is a typical water network city along the southeast coast of China,with a long history,culture and regional characteristics.Fuzhou is one of the best examples of Oriental urban design because of its integration of urban design and landscape.The Minjiang River and the inland river not only affect the urban development and landscape system,but also create the urban spirit of "embracing all rivers and containing all rivers" and the Inland River culture which integrates natural landscape,cultural relics,religious belief and customs and traditions.Under the urban structure of the integration of mountains,water and cities,the operation mode of the ancient Fuzhou water system embodies that the urban water system is an organic part of the natural water system,and this harmonious state of city water mutual adaptation is particularly evident in the Jiangbei urban area in the late Qing Dynasty.Therefore,this paper takes Jiangbei urban area of Fuzhou as an example.First of all,it summarizes the relationship between urban evolution and water system change in Fuzhou plain and Jiangbei urban area in historical period,and analyzes the urban water adaptability in the late Qing Dynasty through the influence of urban water system on urban pattern,urban water conservancy,urban landscape and urban culture.Secondly,by summarizing Quanzhou,Guangzhou and Chaozhou,and comparing them with Fuzhou,their commonalities and differences are analyzed,and concludes that the traditional city water adaptability of Fuzhou can be used for reference for other coastal cities.Thirdly,it summarizes the evolution of modern urban morphology and water system in Jiangbei urban area.On this basis,it analyzes the evolution of urban water system in four aspects: urban pattern,urban water conservancy,urban landscape and urban culture,and makes a comparative analysis with Jiangbei urban area in the late Qing Dynasty.Finally,it discusses how to apply the traditional city water adaptability transformation to the rapid urbanization of urban development,combine the traditional wisdom of urban water management with the needs of modern urban development,seek the contemporary landscape human settlements construction mode,and provide new ideas for the development of other cities along the sea water network.Based on the above research,the urban water system renewal planning of Jiangbei urban area is carried out under the background of urban renewal and new area development of Jiangbei urban area.In the conclusion of the study,the transformation strategies of the four systems of urban pattern,urban water conservancy,urban landscape and urban culture are used to guide the planning part,that is,the basis for selecting the macro renewal points,the implementation of the strategies and the planning system.And then in the meso micro scale,that is,the East Lake Block urban design guide design generation,design strategy and design principles.In this paper,through the soft strategy design of spatial form planning and activity system,the research conclusions are put into practice,in order to make an effective exploration for the planning and design of coastal cities.
