Many international horticultural organizations have different definitions of "community garden",but they all have similarities. After synthesis, the community garden refers to the purpose of promoting the physical and mental health of the residents and the harmony of the neighborhood. The land is planned and divided into gardens, and provided to the community residents in places where they engage in gardening activities through lease and distribution. It originated in Europe, and later influenced the city's beautification movement in the United States. It brought a very high social relief effect in the 19 th century and after World War II.It returned to people's attention after the 1970 s.This return is not just about The economic benefits brought by it also lie in the positive effects of ecology, education and culture. In recent years, community gardens have begun to enter the eyes of Chinese scholars.Shanghai,Chengdu and other places took the lead through the use of community gardens to utilize fragmented green spaces in or around the community, convene gardening enthusiasts and enthusiasts in the community, establish public participation in gardening groups, and rebuild relationships between people At the same time as the bond,it also tells others about the technology and art of planting. But at present, the overall development of community gardens in China is slow and difficult. In a modern society with rapid development, rapid urbanization is inevitable, and many cities are in a situation where new city development and old city transformation are carried out simultaneously. On the one hand, more and more people live in the imprisonment of urban steel behemoths, the relationship between people is becomingmore and more indifferent, and the sense of communication between community neighborhoods and community communities needs to be strengthened. On the other hand, the improvement of living standards and the desire to contact nature are becoming more and more urgent. The gray spaces lacking in the management around the old city community and the land to be built on the edge of the new city, and even some green areas inside the community are spontaneously reclaimed by residents, and gradually gather into Formal public gardening of vegetable gardens, the community management lacks relevant experience and ignores the needs of residents, adopting the way of "blocking is not sparse" to force the cleaning of vegetable fields, causing a situation of confrontation between upper and lower, which has also been reported in various reports. It is not uncommon. How to reasonably standardize the informal "vegetable land" and establish a scientific community garden management system has important practical significance.First of all, this article takes the “informal” community garden formed by the spontaneous gathering and planting of residents in and around the main city of Chongqing as the survey object.Through basic research on theory and historical development,it summarizes the design methods, management models and policies of community gardens Experiences in three aspects are guaranteed: the multiple functions of the community garden are explored in the design, and the size of the land is clearly defined during the planning.Plant planning guides planting by distributing seeds;adopts management to attract the participation of external forces from community gardens and continues the model of renting land;formulating relevant policies and regulations to ensure the development of community gardens.Second, through the combination of network and offline, the more typical informal community gardens in the main city of Chongqing were selected to conduct environmental status studies, and the residents 'spontaneous gathering of vegetables and fruits was formed to form informal community gardens.feature.It is found that the informal community gardens in the main urban area of ??Chongqing have complex forms, ambiguous spatial distribution boundaries, poor landscape effects, and single functions;the purpose of engaging in gardening activities is only to obtain horticultural food products.Third,a questionnaire survey was conducted on community residents and community managers. The degree of community integration, the material and spiritual needs of informal community garden participants, problems faced, and the attitudes of community managers towards informal community gardens were investigated.Based on statistical analysis,it is concluded that the characteristics of spontaneous participation, herd performance, and pursuit of practicability presented by the current residents in the informal community garden;community managers are still lacking in management experience and systems, resulting in attitudes that are not supported Dilemma. Finally, combining the above three aspects of research,we have summarized the scientific planning methods and community management strategies from informal to formal transformation.Put forward the principle of "people-oriented,participation-based,nature for work" community garden construction.Construction should follow the four basic processes of “acquiring land permits, convening participation, planning and design, organization and long-term operations”.In terms of design planning,it considers from the aspects of site selection, community garden space, land and road planning, functional structure planning, plant planning and planting suggestions, and supporting facility planning.Regarding the establishment of community garden management system and construction methods to promote the breadth and depth of participation of community participants, specific schemes were proposed,in order to provide correct guidance suggestions for the initial construction process of community gardens.
