The importance of kindergarten outdoor equipment in the growth of preschooler is selfevident.However,it is generally lack of field research and quantitative analysis of the kindergarten environment and children’s groups in the relevant design research on outdoor facilities in kindergarten,which makes the design of outdoor facilities lack of practicality.Firstly,this study statistically analyzed the questionnaire scale of outdoor activity satisfaction of kindergarten teachers and concluded that outdoor activity satisfaction is affected by the three factors these are kindergarten environment,children,and outdoor facilities;outdoor activity satisfaction,children’s health and social interaction are significantly related.Then,through on-site observation of the outdoor environment of the kindergarten,the Frost playground evaluation method was used to evaluate and analyze the outdoor environment of the kindergarten.Conducted statistical analysis of children behavior data during outdoor activities in kindergarten,to classify outdoor amusement facilities according to children’s behavior.Used rooted theory,qualitative analysis of parent interviews and observations of children’s daily life,to derived things that affect children’s cognition,children’s preferences,social interaction and parental expectations.Finally,on the basis of the aforementioned research,taking Yiming Kindergarten as an example,it proposes an improvement design proposal for the outdoor amusement system: the application of "tourism ring structure" to optimize the outdoor space structure;selection of outdoor amusement facilities that meet the children’s behavior characteristics;Children’s cognitive preferences,deducing the shape and color of outdoor facilities;optimizing the size of outdoor facilities according to children’s man-machine size;referring to relevant standards to determine the material of outdoor facilities;applying Frost outdoor playground evaluation system to make an objective appraisal on the quality.
