The construction of some primary school campuses in Guangzhou is facing the test of problems such as tight supply and demand,uneven distribution of educational resources,and aging building facilities.The design of elementary school classrooms may be subject to different layouts and orientations due to environmental constraints and design requirements.These design differences will cause different characteristics of the classroom's thermal comfort and usage in Guangzhou's specific climate environment.However,due to the lack of clear standards,the design and use of many primary school classrooms in the area lacked consideration and response,ignoring the difference in energy consumption and classroom environment in different layouts,which is not conducive to the optimization of the green building design and use process.Therefore,this article will base on the climatic environment of Guangzhou area and the design characteristics of primary school classrooms,with the thermal environment comfortable and different adjustment modes as the starting point,quantitatively study the difference between different classrooms in different layouts and orientation in related aspects through the survey and measurement,simulation experiments and other methods,summarize the characteristics and laws,and provide references and suggestions for the design and management of primary school campuses in the region.Based on the above research purposes,the main research work of this article is divided into the following parts:First,introduce the climate environment of Guangzhou area,summarize the design and energy-saving requirements of primary school classrooms based on geographical characteristics,and summarize the basic layout forms and room orientations of primary school classrooms in Guangzhou area through investigation and sampling(Chapter 2).Secondly,the natural ventilation classrooms of two elementary schools in Guangzhou were selected for field analysis.Summarize the laws of physical environment data performance and look for problems in design and use(Chapter 3).Use the measured data to verify the performance simulation software and verify the reliability of the experimental tool;on this basis,a standard analysis model is established according to the problem to be solved and the relevant work flow is established(Chapter 4).Then use the analysis model to simulate the thermal environment comfort of different layout orientation classrooms under natural ventilation throughout the year.By comparing the thermal comfort duration and thermal discomfort in different seasons,the thermalenvironment characteristics of each kind of classroom are obtained and the layout orientation of the poor performance in each season are summarized(Chapter 5).Finally,we conducted a study on the classroom thermal environment adjustment mode during the summer when the climate environment in Guangzhou is the most unfavorable.Quantitative analysis of various operating conditions and adjustment methods under natural ventilation and air-conditioning environment for the improvement of the comfort of the thermal environment and energy-saving benefits of different layouts towards the classroom.Established the correspondence between thermal environment comfort,adjustment mode and orientation layout(Chapter 6).This article uses a building performance simulation platform,focusing on the development background and climate characteristics of primary school buildings in Guangzhou,to establish a comparative evaluation method for the design and use of primary school classrooms.This method can quantify the impact of design factors such as layout and orientation on the thermal environment in the early stage of design,clarify the type of classrooms that need to be focused on in the design,explore the use of comfortable and energy-saving methods,and provide data support for the formulation of design strategies and usage standards.It has practical significance for the realization of green building development and refined design and management.
