Primary and secondary school students spend around 30% of their life in the classroom,so the quality of the classroom environment is closely related to students’ physical and mental health and learning performance.At present,the indoor thermal environment design standards are mainly based on the average level of the society based on adult thermal comfort,and most of them are residential buildings and office buildings,while the research on primary and secondary classrooms is relatively small.In addition,the existing indoor thermal environment design standards mainly consider the characteristics of human thermal comfort to the environment,and less consider the impact of indoor thermal environment on human performance,and the research on the indoor environment for primary and secondary school students is rarely studied.As a place for study,primary and secondary school classrooms should consider the comprehensive needs of primary and secondary school students for thermal comfort and learning performance.This paper aims at improving the thermal comfort and learning performance of primary and secondary school students in summer,and comprehensively uses factor analysis,theoretical analysis,experimental testing and other methods to improve the learning performance test evaluation method based on cognitive learning theory and human productivity evaluation methods.An experimental space with controllable environmental parameters was created.By measuring physiological parameters such as blood pressure,heart rate,and body temperature,and collecting basic information such as thermal sensation vote and thermal satisfaction vote in different experimental environments(temperature,air velocity),the relationship between the thermal comfort,learning performance of primary and secondary school students and classroom environmental parameters(temperature,air velocity)is mastered.Based on the indoor environmental parameter grading standards under thermal comfort conditions,the indoor environmental parameter grading standards under learning performance conditions are derived and a detailed grading method is proposed.Finally,considering the impact of classroom environment on thermal comfort and learning performance,using the classroom environmental parameter grading standards,the appropriate range of environmental parameters in the summer classroom is proposed.The specific conclusions are:(1)The results of the thermal comfort evaluation of the experimental environment by the students showed that the students were more satisfied with the thermal environment in a slightly warm environment.When the temperature of classroom is controlled,the difference between TSV and PMV is small at the same temperature.When the air velocity is controlled,the TSV is greater than PMV under the same air velocity condition,and the difference becomes larger as the air velocity increases.(2)The impact of temperature and air velocity on learning performance in classrooms varies with test tasks.In the range of experimental temperature and air velocity,with the increase of temperature,the learning performance first increases and then decreases;while the air velocity increases,the learning performance continues to decrease.It is also found that although subjective learning performance evaluation can reflect the change trend of learning performance to a certain extent,there are still differences between the results of objective learning performance test.(3)The experimental results show that when the average thermal sensation of the students is about +1,the learning performance is the highest.When the thermal sensation is deviated,the learning performance will be reduced.The negative impact of cold discomfort on the learning performance of students is greater than the warm discomfort.And there is a linear relationship between learning performance and thermal satisfaction vote.The higher the thermal satisfaction vote value,the higher the students’ learning performance.(4)According to the classification method of indoor environmental parameters,it is obtained that the recommended range of classroom temperature and air velocity in summer under different thermal comfort and learning performance levels.Considering the students’ thermal comfort and learning performance requirements,the classroom temperature range(26.5~27.5°C)for high-thermal comfort and learning performance in summer.When the thermal environment of primary and secondary school classrooms in summer is difficult to regulate to the air conditioning temperature(26°C)and below,students can maintain a high level of thermal comfort and learning performance by changing the air velocity.By studying the influence of summer classroom environment on thermal comfort and learning performance,this paper proposes a summer classroom environmental parameter recommendation range that comprehensively considers thermal comfort and learning performance,and provides reference for summer thermal environment design and regulation in primary and secondary classrooms.
