Construction industry,which is one of the pillar industries in our country at present,has been continuously developing with the rapid economy,However,the phenomena of low efficiency and resource waste have been against the idea of saving energy and resources of the pillar industries.And under the increasingly fierce market competition,the primary task for construction enterprises intended to improve core competence is to find out an effective,advanced and scientific method to improve the level of project cost management and the profitability of construction project.However,the cost control methods of most construction companies are single and rough,which can't effectively reduce costs and can cause waste of resources and prevention from increase in economic benefits instead.Therefore,successful cost management and effective cost control methods is a favorable weapon for the long-term survival and vigorous development of construction enterprises.On the basis of the traditional cost control method earned value method,in order to make up for its shortcomings,this paper proposes a multi-level earned value method and proves its feasibility and effectiveness according to actual cases.The research ideas of this article are as the following,firstly,The related theories of cost control of engineering projects are summarized,and the problems and reasons of cost control of current construction engineering projects are analyzed.Secondly,the traditional earned value method and multi-level earned value method theory are explained,and The theoretical implementation is compared and analyzed.The superiority of the multi-level earned value method is highlighted theoretically again,the application of the multi-level earned value method in construction project cost control is explained in details,and the multi-level earned value method control process is constructed.WBS structure is used to decompose all construction engineering projects,and the detailed process of the implementation of the multi-level earned value method is introduced.Finally,combined with actual cases,the traditional earned value method and the multi-level earned value method are used to analyze the project cost deviation.Also,The reason for the deviation is analyzed and effective measures are proposed.Through comparative analysis,the effectiveness and scientific of the multi-level earned value method on cost control is highlightedIt is hoped that the new ideas of cost control proposed in this article will have a certain reference value and theoretical basis for the research of construction project cost control methods,and will contribute to research in the field of project cost management.
