Evaluation And Promotion Strategies Of City Square Space Quality In Yan’an New District Under The Inheritance Of Regional Context

With the continuous progress of urbanization,more and more cities are facing the dilemma of population expansion,land shortage,functional confusion and so on.The construction of new urban areas has become an effective way to solve this dilemma.However,the construction of the new area is often faced with the query and criticism of the urban context and one side of the city.As an important part of the urban space,the square is also an important carrier to show the urban culture,and its spatial design and the transmission of cultural significance are facing severe challenges.Yan’an City is one of the most important cities in Northern Shaanxi.It is of great significance to inherit its regional context.In order to evacuate the functions of the old urban area and protect the historical revolutionary sites,Yan’an started the construction of the new area in 2011.The cultural square is located at the southernmost end of the central axis of the new area.It is the main public space to undertake the activities of the citizens and an important window to display the image of the city.This paper takes the Cultural Square as the research object,through the in-depth study and analysis of the characteristics of the regional context of Yan’an City,combined with psychology,environmental behavior and other related discipline theories,constructs the spatial quality evaluation system from the perspective of the regional context inheritance,and evaluates the cultural square by the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods of satisfaction and spatial use.Through the implementation of the evaluation, analyze and summarize the evaluation data,summarize the existing advantages and disadvantages of the new area square in the context inheritance,analyze its internal causes,and put forward the promotion strategy based on the regional context inheritance.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows: firstly,users are satisfied with the overall space quality of cultural square;secondly,tourists’ space evaluation of Yan’an new area square is affected by psychological effects,including compensation effect,intermittent effect and catalyst effect;finally,the strategies of improving the space quality of square under the regional context inheritance can be summarized as follows:The continuation strategy,reorganization strategy and regeneration strategy of context.
