Research On Urban Public Space Design Based On Regional Culture

The public space of a city is the embodiment of a city's spiritual outlook.The public space of a city with cultural history is the expression of a city's regional culture,which plays an indispensable role in shaping the overall image of a city and forming a unique regional city spirit.It mainly includes buildings,roads,squares,green space and other elements of environmental equipment.This paper mainly discusses the city squares.Since the reform and opening up,the level of economic development has improved significantly,and the growing needs of people for a better life have become an important problem to be solved in modern urban life.The leisure function of the city square gradually appears,and as an important place for residents to rest,it is concerned by everyone.Therefore,it is of great significance to build a city square with regional culture,urban spirit,historical context and accurately reflecting local leading industries.Based on the theories of cultural geography,urban planning,architecture and other disciplines,this paper studies urban square from the perspective of regional culture.The square space can be regarded as the product of the combination of geographical and cultural characteristics,and become a part of the urban context.To find the relationship between the ecological environment and regional culture,there are also new solutions to the regional cultural heritage and development.Firstly,from the relationship between urban public space and urban square,the paper points out the function of urban square as an important part of urban public space.Then,it studies the types,characteristics,functions and components of the city square,and on this basis,it analyzes the main cases and summarizes the design points of the administrative square,theme square and culture square.Next,it discusses the influence of regional culture on urban square,analyzes the relationship between them and makes a judgment on the current situation of regional design of urban square in China.Through the empirical analysis of the expression of the regional culture of three different types of urban squares in Bayannur,through the designer's perspective and the user's post use evaluation,the paper summarizes and summarizes the problems at all levels,and uses this method to improve the quality of the space of the above cases.Finally,it summarizes the principles,methods and Strategies of the regional expression of the city square,and discusses how to use the theories of planning,landscape and aesthetics to design the regional expression of the city square.The novel coronavirus epidemic is the end of the article,and it will give some thoughts on public health in the future city public space.
