| In recent years, along with cooperation education model of production, learningand research in universities carrying out vigorously, the construction of Teaching andResearch Building is even more concerned. scientific research as the main behavior ofTeaching and Research Building, increasingly need to rely on teamwork. Previouspersonal research model has been unable to meet the development of modern science,the communication for information between the various disciplines of scientificresearch has become a key. Public space as a place to provide exchange of information,occupies a very important position, in the space of Teaching and Research Building.However, in the previous engineering construction, architects and builders are toomuch attention to the layout of main functional space and lack attention for public space,resulting in lack of humanistic thinking and comfortable space environmentconstruction in a considerable amount of the public space of Teaching and ResearchBuilding. After entering the21st century, in the University City construction boom,more and more universities, in the construction of Teaching and Research Building,more and more emphasis on respect for intellectual’s personality and humanity care,more and more pay attention to the quality of public space in the importance ofscientific research work efficiency. Therefore, the degree of concern for public spacegradually increases, requiring the design must reflect the diversity of public space. Thisstudy is based on the demand to explore this topic. In the public space of Teaching andResearch Building, how to create a healthy, safe and comfortable space environmentand offer a variety of learning, exchange places become focusing attention of this paper.This thesis mainly includes the following parts:The first chapter is part of the problem. An overview of the overall study, includingthe background, purpose and meaning, object and the related concept, the presentsituation, the method and research framework of the full text.The second chapter is the analysis of part of the problem. First of all, throughanalyzing Teaching and Research Building public space’s characteristic, organizationalstructure and influence factors, to cognitive public space. Secondly, induces thescientific researchers’ four requirements for the public space-accessibility, participatory,gradation and comfortable. Finally, through the analysis of research and questionnairefor the present situation, summarizes the problems existing in the current public space of Teaching and Research Building, so as to lay a foundation for the design of publicspace research later.The third, fourth, fifth chapter is the core of this thesis, to solve these problems.First of all, according to the current problems, puts forward from there aspects of space,place, ecological design strategy, on the public space of Teaching and ResearchBuilding. And then, the specific studies are from two aspects--internal and externalpublic space design. Firstly, internal and external public space is refined classification.the internal public space mainly includes: the foyer space, traffic space, atrium spaceand platform space; the external public space mainly includes: entrance space, squarespace, courtyard space, bottom overhead space and roof platform space. Secondly,through the study on the concept and functional properties of each space, obtain thedesign’s key points.The sixth chapter is the part of theory with practice. Combined with the author’spersonal experience involved in Teaching and Research Building of ChongqingUniversity of Science&Technology, to further the foregoing theory test, and explainsits public space design ideas and features.The last part is the conclusion of the full text and the outlook for public spacedesign of Teaching and Research Building in the future. |
