This article is a thesis researching the university open teaching building design. In thetwenty-first Century information era and the background of popularization of internet,higher education has entered a period of rapid development of "explosive" in Chinese.Higher education thoughts change with the change of the needs of socialdevelopment and the tireless research for science and technology, producing a kindof new philosophy of education, bringing a series of change of the education model,etc. Teaching building also needs corresponding change. College teaching buildingsas a place for students learning, communication and teachers imparting knowledgeand solving doubts, because of the generation of the new open teaching mode, it hasgreat influence on the teaching building. In this paper, open as the main line, researchhow to conduct open design in the teaching building. The main contents of teachingbuilding can be divided into teaching function space and public space, the teachingbuilding content using open design method---to open up both externally and internallyto analysis, through the open design for the teaching function and public space tomold opening design of teaching building.The main content is divided into the following five parts:1is with the analysis of theteaching building’s influence factors,deducting the development trend of the teachingbuilding, choose the trend of openness as the starting point of researching theteaching building;2is mainly researching and discussing the open theory. Fromdiscuss finding that openness is the basic characteristic of the open University, andthen puts forward the meaning and content of the open teaching building;3is mainlythrough the research of the design principle of open to the teaching functionunit,analysis of organization of open teaching function unit and the function unit, todesign of open teaching function space;4is researching the open design of theteaching building of public open space, firstly analysis the architectural space andbehavior theory, then analysis the category of teaching building open public space,putting forward the design principles of open public space, and finally design thepublic space organization of open teaching building;5is through social practice toexplore practice of the design of open teaching building.This article attempts to analysis the open design features of the teaching building, asa reference for future college teaching building practice.
