The remote sensing satellite payload data simulation system is used to fully simulate the electrical interface of the remote sensing satellite payload and the input and output data.The system can be used for comprehensive testing and verification of satellite ground control systems before satellite launching,as well as for satellite ground control system troubleshooting and personnel training.In this paper,based on the key load in a remote sensing satellite in our country,hardware modules such as high-speed payload data source,compressed data source and load processor are developed.And also develops the remote sensing satellite payload data simulation software system which provides a powerful guarantee for the testing and verification of the satellite ground control system.Firstly,this paper analyzes the functions and technical requirements of the remote sensing satellite payload data simulation system,and determines the design architecture of the PXI & PXIe hybrid bus according to the generalization and miniaturization design principles.According to the modular design idea,the payload data simulation system is divided into a high-speed load data source module,a compressed data source module and a load processor module,and an embedded computer function module.And the load data source module and the compressed data source module both use the NAND Flash chip as the image data storage medium.In order to ensure the data source module's requirements for data capacity and data read/write rate,a flash memory array is adopted on the circuit board.In addition,in order to ensure the accuracy and reliability of NAND Flash data storage,BCH algorithm is used for data check and data error correction.The load processor module takes FPGA as the core and makes full use of the parallel processing capability and cache capability of FPGA to realize parallel reception of multiple payload data,multiplexing of load data and parallel transmission of payload data.Finally,the payload data simulation system control software is written by Lab Windows/CVI software.The communication with the central control computer is realized through the LAN interface and the TCP/IP protocol.So the control commands are received and the working state parameters are sent in real time to meet the local control and remote control requirements of the payload data simulation system.Test and verification results show that the payload data simulation system meets the functional and technical requirements.The payload data simulation system developed in this paper has been successfully applied to a satellite ground control application system,which plays an important role in the debugging,testing and performance verification of the operation control system.
