In recent years,with the increasing individualization of consum er demand and the continuous improvement of service quality requirements,the competition in China's automobile manufacturing industry has changed from "market-centered" to "customer-centered".This change has forced major automobile manufacturing enterprises to compress the time in all aspects of product development,procurement,transportation and production in order to improve their ability to satisfy the changing market demands by shortening the production cycle.In addition,the new round of price war in China's automotive industry becomes increasingly fierce,which makes major automotive manufacturers face enormous cost reduction challenges.It is impossible to enlarge the gap with competitors only by improving production technology and reducing labor force.According to statistics,the cost of automotive supply chain management accounts for 20%?30% of the purchasing cost,70% of Toyota's industrial added value comes from the supply chain[1],the automobile supply chain is not only the source of cost but also the source of profit.Moreover,for automobile manufacturing enterprises,since the vehicle supply chain is market-oriented,it is hard to control.In contrast,the auto parts supply chain has greater controllability,so it has become an important part for automobile manufacturing enterprises to enhance market competitiveness.The analysis and Research on the current situation and problems of auto parts supply chain management is of great significance to the future development of automobile manufacturing enterprises and automobile industry.As a large domestic automobile manufacturer,Daqing Volvo Car Manufacturing Co.,Ltd.has achieved excellent sales performance and industry influence since its establishment in 2013.However,along with the intens ification of competition in the automotive industry and the continuous progress of supply chain technology in the automotive industry,Daqing Volvo has many problems and defects in the field of automotive parts supply chain management,which restrict the company's capacity improvement and cost control.Facing the changes,we must deeply examine the bottlenecks in the operation of the current automobile parts supply chain,take effective measures to improve the efficiency of the supply chain and expand the profit margin.This thesis takes Daqing Volvo auto parts supply chain management system as the research object,comprehensive use of literature study,investigation study,quantitative analysis and comparative analysis methods,starting from the current situation of the company's auto parts supply chain management,combined with today's supply chain related theoretical research and practice achievements both at home and abroad,in-depth analysis of the operation status and main problems of each link of its supply chain management.Furthermore,it focuses on the analysis of the management bottlenecks in the three aspects about parts order calculation,parts packaging management and parts warehousing management,the study found that the problem of high safety stock which drastically affects the accuracy of the order,the problem of many kinds and sizes of packages which lead to difficulty of packaging management,and the backward manual warehousing operation mode which seriously cause the low efficiency and high error rate of parts warehousing operation and other major issues.On this basis,puts forward a series of countermeasures and safeguard measures,such as reasonable reduction of safety stock,optimization of packaging management mode and improvement of warehousing efficiency,which can effectively improve and optimize the supply chain management of Daqing Volvo auto parts,hoping to provide valuable reference decision for the company's long-term development in future.
