The high-rise steel structure residence is still at the initial stage in China,and the research on the construction management of steel structure residence is also far from in-depth.However,with the large promotion of construction industry,the steel structure residence will play more and more role in the development of construction field,therefore,it is extremely necessitated to strengthen the construction management study in the steel structural residence.This paper firstly combs the key problems encountered by construction management during the process of steel structural residence construction through the collection and sort of literature materials,the investigation and survey of participating in the actual cases by my own.Then combining with the steel structure residence project,the paper expounds the construction quality,progress,safety management and control of steel structure residence and the application of BIM new technology.Furthermore,based on the basic principle of construction management and the characteristics of high-rise steel structure residence,the methods and measures of construction management and control are proposed,which can provide reference for the construction management of high-rise steel structure residence.The main conclusion of this article will be as below:(1)Compared with the reinforced concrete structure residence,the coordination and cooperation of the construction unit,the design unit and the general contracting unit of the steel structure residence project are more important,which play the leading role of the project,the technology and the on-site respectively.(2)Combined with the construction management practice of actual steel structural residence project,the paper combs and analyses the existed focused problems and its influencing factors from construction procedure,project progress,quality safety,puts forward specific solutions and countermeasures,and expounds that steel structure hoisting is a controlling factor of quality,progress and safety in construction management.The cracking treatment of cladding wallboard,fire prevention and anti-corrosion measures of steel structure,as well as the quality control of hoisting and installation accuracy should be paid more attention.(3)The calculation of dynamic cost shows that there is a certain disadvantage of steel structural system of high-rise residence in the aspect of cost control compared with the traditional reinforced concrete structure system,which is mainly enslaved to the influence such as the material price fluctuation,in-completed technical standard,and insufficient experiences of management staffs in professional design and construction.The cost control of steel structural residence project should start from deep design,capacity management,optimization of construction optimum,entrance of computing simulating technology.(4)The application of BIM technology provides the relevant design and construction management and control with new solution,overcomes the shortcoming and insufficiency,such as there is no close connection of traditional project design and construction management,relevant information cannot be shared in time,it is easy to lead to the wrong design and failed measurement,and the amendment and change are repeated during the process of construction.It can have an effective promotion of project management level,enhance architectural quality and meanwhile,it also has an active role in optimizing cost control.
