Compared with traditional residential high-rise steel concrete structure, withmany significant advantages, both to meet the demand for comfortable livingconditions, but also reduce damage to resources and the environment, but also hasexcellent seismic performance. Therefore, the development of high-rise steel housinghas a very broad application prospects. In this paper, based on research work related tothe preparation of the design manual is designed to provide some references andrecommendations for the design and construction of residential high-rise steel structureselection.This paper introduces several common residential high-rise steel structure system,from the layout, stress and deformation characteristics of the overall scope of variousstructural systems. In order to meet seismic requirements structure for differentcategories of venues, different heights can choose different residential architecture,the main difference between the different structural system is that the size of theanti-sway capability. Moreover, the choice of structural system should also considerthe requirements of building size, construction costs and other factors.Then, three-dimensional finite element model PKPM software to Handan Steel a21-storey residential prototype, analyze an example, were established pure steelframe, steel frame-supporting steel frame-shear wall structure system in threedifferent three-dimensional model, using SATWE software for more than7degreesunder way in case of linear seismic analysis and response spectrum analysis, bycomparing the three structures under earthquake response, to get the overall stableperformance, vibration mode and cycle interlayer displacement, shear weight ratiocalculations, analyze their characteristics in terms of seismic performance of threedifferent structural systems for the use of the system were analyzed.Finally, a summary of the overall characteristics of high-rise steel structures,made something about the structure of the selection and promotion of industrializationresidential high-rise steel reference and recommendations; at the same time, theresearch has been done on the basis of further study some suggestions and problemsneed to be improved.
